Delivery was fast and no damage or missing parts. I'm making some tools to lift and pour the crucible. I used a spray on rigidizer on the insulation instead of refactory cement. Can't wait to try it out.

All all a fairly decent bit of kit. I mainly use it for copper alloys though Id say it'd be handy for aluminium and precious metals, even fheating steel for forge welding. What let's it down i think is the crucible, mine started to deteriorate after a few uses, I know they are wearing parts but I expected it to last longer. The tongs also grip it by the lip rather than wrapping round the cup so be wary of that once it starts to deteriorate as mine broke a bit off. I wouldnt want to fill it to the brim

I got this after watching a video on YouTube of a gentleman in the uk who gave it a good review. I am not disappointed. I got this to melt the bronze scrap from machining bronze on the lathe. we were just throwing it away at the recycle center. Now we can repurpose it. So far I’ve melted bronze and cast a handle. It easy to assemble and so far seems efficient and easy to use. I did modify the tongs as they are pretty much useless as they are from the box. And i made another set of tongs to grab the crucible safely. I also used my own propane hose as it had a different connection to our large propane tank. I tried to upload photos to the review but they are to large.

Man this thing is great If you are thinking about it just pull the trigger
