Auch nach Anforderung habe ich keine lesbare Aufbauanleitung in deutscher Sprache erhalten. Die auf der Webseite hinterlegte ist nur mit Lupe erkennbar.

Wir haben die Destille mehrmals probiert, leider ohne Erfolg! Geld habe ich zurück bekommen! Einen Kauf kann ich nicht empfehlen!

Gute Ausstattung – aber konstruktive Probleme bei der Destillation Die Destille macht zunächst einen guten Eindruck. Die Glasgeräte sind ordentlich verarbeitet, das Set ist umfangreich und lässt sich gut aufbauen. Für den privaten Hobbygebrauch ist die Qualität des Materials durchaus gut. Die mitgelieferte Heizplatte ist für eine sinnvolle Destillation deutlich zu schwach. Beim ersten Betrieb entwickelte sie zudem sehr starken Rauch. Wie auf der Verpackung angekündigt, rauchte dabei nicht nur die Metall-Heizfläche, sondern das gesamte Gerät. Beim ersten Einschalten löste außerdem die Sicherung aus. Um die Heizleistung als Ursache auszuschließen, habe ich anschließend einen leistungsstarken Elektroherd verwendet. Damit ließ sich der untere Kolben problemlos kräftig zum Sieden bringen. Trotzdem kam praktisch kein Dampf bis zum Kondensator. Das eigentliche konstruktive Problem scheint der viel zu klein dimensionierte Dampfweg zwischen dem unteren und oberen Kolben zu sein. Trotz kräftig siedendem Wasser erhielt ich nach zahlreichen Versuchen keinen einzigen Tropfen Kondensat im Auffanggefäß. Das ist schade, da viele Komponenten des Sets durchaus brauchbar sind. Ich werde daher einen Teil der Apparatur weiterverwenden und mit anderen Komponenten versuchen, einen deutlich größeren Dampfquerschnitt zu erreichen. Fazit: Für Hobbyzwecke ordentliches Material und ein schönes Set. In der gelieferten Kombination war damit bei mir jedoch keine funktionierende Wasserdampfdestillation von Pflanzenmaterial (Lavendel) möglich.

The Steam does not go further toen the top. Probably the plate that does not get hot enough but it makes the entire set worthless. Ive spend hours to work out what happend. No leaks, different herbs and amout of herbs. I will return the set.

Your courier just dumps items at my front gate, I'm on 3 acres and cant see when items arrive, they just sit there all day if I'm not home to collect, no more buying from vevor sorry, to risky

One piece broke and the heat plate does not heat up hot enough to extract. Very disappointed with this item

Glas ist gut verarbeitet und die Anlage ist schnell aufgebaut und einfach zu bedienen. Gut geeignet für einen schnellen Versuch oder etwas Didaktik. Allein die Heizplatte ist Schrott und ich halte es für fahrlässig diese zu verkaufen/bedienen. Unbedingt eine Heizalternative beschaffen. Die Kabelisolierung hält der Hitze nicht Stand, siehe Bilder. Kein Schützleiter ist montiert, die Platte wird unnötig heiß und die Beine sind ungenau und mangelhaft. Gut gefällt mir der Schneidetrichter in der Anlage damit lässt sich effektiv das Öl trennen. Eventuell ist es dennoch schlauer die Komponenten einzeln zu beschaffen und gleich eine brauchbare Heizplatte/Haube zu nehmen.

The distillation kit is pretty cool. I do love the glassware. I wish it came with a bigger and sturdier stand so you could remove the hotplate and adjust things without it falling over. The hotplate is what keeps it propped up. There's a hole in the middle of the stand though. So I'll probably just run a bolt through it into some plywood for stability. I'd have given it a 5/5 rating. But the hot plate releases a lot of toxic smelling smoke the first day you use it. It smells like Teflon. I feel kind of sick after breathing it. But even worse than that, it doesn't get hot enough to boil water. So it's basically just a useless brick. Ended up breathing all that toxic smoke for nothing. You'll need a higher quality hot plate. They make laboratory grade ones that let you dial up to a very specific temperature. Unfortunately, I can't afford one now. But will get one next. Another hotplate complaint, it's so low to the table that it keeps the entire apparatus low. So you can't get a vial under the collection funnel. You need to raise the hotplate a few inches to make the kit really usable. It's a cheap set and doesn't come with a stand for the plate. I made one out of a cooling rack and some ceramic tile to get some clearance. All in all, the glassware seems good. The stand is alright, and easy enough to make stable with simple tools and cheap materials. But the burner is not worth a damn. So I'd recommend this kit if you're interested in distillation. Just add some money to your budget for a burner that actually works. There's no way to attach it to a sink, which is what most people do for their cooling systems. I'm not sure how that's typically done, but you'll need to consider that too. That's no fault of the company though. I've never seen a kit that comes with everything you need to attach to a sink. But I like my idea more, anyway. It keeps the sink and kitchen open for my family to use while I work on my distillation projects. I just bought some extra clear vinyl tubing (also from Vevor) and hooked it up to a nice fountain with a 2 gallon capacity to cycle water through the condenser coil. It looks beautiful and sounds like a little waterfall. Adds to the alchemy lab aesthetic. And guests love to see it. All in all, 3 out of 5. It could be 5 out of 5. But they need to replace the hotplate with one that actually gets hot. This is more of a lukewarm plate
