Richtig toll verpackt kam auch fix an trotz einriss in der Pappe war alles super. die Bedienungsanleitung ist leider sehr klein und auch nur auf englisch. Verbesserungsbedarf

Got results already from juniper needles and orange peels. Juniper oil did not smell great but maybe the needles had to be dried beforehand (I used them raw, right from the trees). It makes sense to distill several fills of the same material one after the other to not waste the output that accumulates in the condensation tube and the collector. All glassware seems robust so far and everything works nicely.

Wir sind sehr zufrieden. Wir hätten überall 5 Sterne gegeben, aber die Kochplatte ist für diesen Glasbehälter viel zu groß. Zuviel Energie der Platte verschwindet im Raum, ohne das Wasser zu heizen.

Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist unschlagbar. Die Herdplatte stinkt beim ersten Gebrauch extrem. Wir haben sie ein paar Mal auf voller Leistung laufen lassen (ohne Destille), bis der extreme Geruch abgedampft ist. Dann konnte man das ganze aber ganz normal verwenden. Die Reinigung ist sehr einfach. Der Versand kam an wie versprochen. Alle Teile waren in einem einwandfreien Zustand. Es wurde unglaublich viel Zubehör geliefert. Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Ist ein super umfangreiches Einsteigerset und vorallem sehr preisgünstig. PS: Ich wollte noch Bilder hochladen, aber irgendwie hat das nicht funktioniert.

Very good quality, specifically of glassware. A lot of useful tools are included so you are fully ready to start the distillation. Heating plate 1000 W is just the right power so when you have it on full power it will make nice steam and boil at 105 °C, maybe sometimes even more if the pressure will get high. It only takes some time to start boiling but once it boils it is working great.

Destillatieset was snel verstuurd en binnen enkele dagen ontvangen. Het is goed beschermd verpakt en in perfecte staat aangekomen. De set bevat zelfs pipetflesjes om olie in te doen, een klein potje vaseline en extra afsluitdoppen en klemmen. Je krijgt dus meer dan je verwacht voor een lage prijs. Helaas zit er geen waterpompje bij. Het is dus moeilijk om water in het koelsysteem te krijgen. Je moet zelf een pompje kopen, een kraan in de buurt hebben of slim omgaan met zwaartekracht om water in het systeem te krijgen en weer op te vangen. Voor het bedrag mag je niet klagen. Het glas is van hoge kwaliteit en zeer sterk. Wel moet je de verwarmingsplaat ergens op plaatsen om bij de glazen kolf te kunnen voor verwarming. Dit staat ook op de productfoto's dus is duidelijk.

All is perfect except hot plate but costumer service help me any time to resolve the issues really recommend

I've made dozens of batches of essential oil (mostly oregano, but also thyme, sage and others, depending on what is doing well in my garden) using this set and it works very well. The quality of the oil I'm able to distill is fantastic. I will try making rosewater and other floral waters/hydrosols when those plants are in season. The quality of the glass is very good. The size is perfect for small-batch distillation. This would be ideal for a school lab to demonstrate the scientific principles of distillation. The kit is not fully complete, you will need to provide a few additional things to get started. You will need a water pump and an external water tank (fountain pump in a 5gal bucket works fine). You will need a way to elevate the hotplate about 10cm. A lab jack is ideal, but a few bricks works fine as well. The included tubing is short, you might need longer tubing if your cold-water source is not close. My only complaint: The included 1000w hot plate does not get hot enough for many kinds of plants. I use a 1500w for most of my oils. I repurposed the 1000w plate to be used with a soxhlet extractor which only requires about 1000w.
