The gage does not reach 29 inches of mercury. It barely makes it to 25. I believe the issue is the gage as I am able to boil water at low temps and degas silicone fairly well so not a big problem. However, at the time I bought this - 12 reviews all five stars. When I couldn't get it to go to 29, I double checked and found 11 of the reviews were copied from other websites, and other products. Some of the copied reviews did not give the item 5 stars, but they evidently felt it was ok to change that for the customer.
I have let them know exactly which reviews were fraudulent, but nothing has been done to correct the issue.
When in doubt, copy the review text and paste it into google search with quotes and you will find the exact review elsewhere on the web.

Nik Implosion beim 2. Versuch
18.9L (5 gallon)

Jeremy Spencer Won't pull a vacuum and when I messaged support they sent me a copy of the manual.
I messaged support to get some help with my vacuum pump not pulling enough. I sent them videos and they responded with a copy of the product manual I already had. After that, radio silence. Their customer service is trash and this is the second thing I have purchased that came not working.
