Wonderful product. My truck is setup with a 3000 watt inverter. The truck battery and charging system are connected to a 100Ah auxiliary battery through this relay. Displays voltage of each battery and automatically switches on when truck is charging and off disconnecting the auxiliary battery and which has been charged to 14.0v .level. Additional batteries can connected to auxiliary for additional capacity. All wiring is 2AWG with 175 amp quick disconnects on all components. This arrangement allows AC and DC power supply for toy hauler. Excellent display and simple menu controls to adjust voltage points.

Starting with the minor drawbacks: the hardwired ground wire is annoyingly short, so you'll have to splice it if your setup needs extra length. The relay also gets fairly warm while active. Losing a few watts to heat isn't a massive issue, but because the unit is fully sealed and potted, heat gets trapped inside and raises a slight concern about component longevity. As long as the internal parts are rated for high temperatures, though, it should hold up fine. Otherwise, it's an excellent choice for dual lead-acid banks. Thanks to the adjustable voltage cutoff, it also works surprisingly well as a budget alternative to a DC-to-DC charger for pairing a lead-acid starter battery with a LiFePO4 house battery—provided your generator or alternator is fully regulated and current-limited to handle the lithium demand. Because lead-acid batteries have a large gap between resting and charging voltages, the potential adjusts quickly to match the lithium and balance out any inrush current. During testing with 16mm² wiring and 100A fuses, peak draw topped out at a very manageable 30A for me despite the batteries being very out of balance.
