My first anvil . It looks good. Made my first hook. Arrived ih a box that was pretty beat up but anvil was unscathed and ready for work!

Did the job. Used it to hammer flat and put edges back in pressed metal items. Cheaper and handier than buying a thick block of solid bar.

I like this small anvil. It does what I need as I do not do any heavy anvil work

easily survived the beating of a sledge hammer not somethign many anvils can do and is silensed almost entirl with a brick

It is well worth the money, once I received it. Apparently, there is some kind of problem when ordering it through Amazon. Twice it made it to within 70 miles of me and then returned, "Undeliverable". I haven't a clue what the problem was, but when I ordered direct from Vevor, I received it within 3 days. Quality piece for the money. 5 layers of 2 x lumber and short 4x4 legs gives it a good solid base, with no vibration, but plenty of rebound. Thanks.

L'incudine fa il suo, non ho riscontrato difetti, danni o altro. Fissata già sul suo supporto e pronta all'uso. Unico neo l'imballaggio. Un incudine di 40 kg inserita in una scatola di cartone di dimensione più grande del prodotto con semplicemente due pezzi di compensato sottile messi a "protezione" laterale delle due punte e delle fascette per tenere assieme tutto che ovviamente con il trasporto e movimentazione si è distrutta. La foto rappresenta il pacco nel momento della consegna.

Just started out with forging and didn't want to invest in a huge anvil until I decide is this will be a long term hobby. Once I did a little clean up filing on the sides of the square hole, it was great

This anvil is very good, despite being on the lighter side, it is very usable for light and medium intensity forging. The London pattern helps a lot, as it provides some angles which on other anvil patterns can only be achieved with hardy tools. The only info which I find a bit misleading is the mention of the fact that the step between the anvil face and the horn can be used as a cutting medium. Don't use it as a cutting medium, it is hardened steel and will ruin your chisel if you cut all the way through the work piece with it.

This is my 3rd vevor anvil and second 66lb anvil. They are perfect for beginners and equally as good for an experienced smith. I bought this one for some free veteran classes I run and they hold up well. Now I need to find some good cross pain hammers
