I went from a 15lb cast iron anvil to the 66lb steel and my God, what a world of difference! Swinging the hammer on that cast iron was like hitting a pillow, as it gave me no energy back and was honestly causing me to consider giving up the hobby. Then I bought this anvil. I learned of it from @nopanicbutton on YouTube, where he advertised the 44lb anvil. I decided to go for the 66lb anvil because why not?
Oh man, what a difference! I bounce tested it with a ball bearing and while I didn't do it scientifically, I was more than satisfied with the rebound. Once I started using it, I was incredibly pleased with how much it did NOT leave me tired like my old anvil did.
Overall, I am completely satisfied with it.
