Delivered within 3 days nicely packed and on a small pallet. Horn of the anvil was pointing a little to the side and the sacrifical step for cutting off material in the front has uneven surface. It bears clear traces of manual finishing and someone pushed a little too hard on one spot with a grinder, but it is no big deal. As an amateur I have been using it for cca a month and so far it has no dents or cracks even after a few fairly strong misstrikes from my side. I am honestly very satisfied.

Fedex lost my anvil in route but Vevor was fantastic and refunded my money and sent me a new anvil that I'm very happy with and I left the review for that on another page. Great customer service.

I mounted my 110 lb anvil to an ash stump, dressed the anvil, and used it to set some Damascus and it worked well. I made a couple of Hardy tools already and the anvil seems really well made. I had a 90% rebound on it with a ball bearing. The only issue I see and it's not really an issue is the Hardy hole is an inch and a quarter 1 in would be a lot more user friendly. Overall a very good anvil. I'm happy they finally made a London pattern and 110 lb.

I was shocked to see a steel anvil for this price. Here in Texas you can't find an anvil that's not going for $5-$6 a pound. For the money it's a total steel (get it?)! The pritchel and hardy holes are fantastically placed and easy to use your favorite implement or jig. The horn is free of the "bondo" that others say is inherent in the blue type anvils. The edges needed to be ground down to not make them so sharp but that was 2 mins with a file and angle grinder. The only thing that I need to figure out though is how to silence it as it rings like a bell. I've tried silicon underneath, chains wrapped around it, sound deadening rubber for the bottom, etc. Just know that you're getting a bada$$ tool and a ridiculously good price and you'll be able to announce the time for the hour on the hour.

This anvil is worth every penny it is solid well-made cast steel not cast-iron and it has a tremendous rebound. Highly recommend for anybody getting into blacksmithing or even a seasoned blacksmith

Very good anvil for a nice price, its not a big thing so you need to measure something so you get an estimate of the size. It arrived in a week or ten days to Slovenia in a torn box but there is no way for the delivery company to hurt this hunk of metal. I am pleased with the purchase, I gave it 4 star for the quality because on the top one edge is not straight. Where I live banged up rusty old anvils the same weight are more the double the price.

I have to admit i was sceptic about using an 11,5kg (approx. 25,35 pounds) anvil for forging anything. But to my surprise, it does actually work for forging! i have mainly used it to build knifes. the hollow square allows for punctures and the ocassional twist of a small damascus bar. And lately i have been working jewelry pieces, and this anvil is right at home on that field! The round horn is very versatile as well. Also, i have to mention that, despite leaving the anvil on the outside for a few months because of a mistake, and having rained non-stop, it obviously got some rust, but with just a metallica brush and some oil it was back as new! All in all, a very very good buy. Only sad part is, now I wish i could get my hands on the 60kg (132 pounds) anvil to use for the forge, and use this little fella for jewelry!
