I have used and made several boat guide ons in the past 50 years... I have now found the number one. VEVOR Boat Trailer Guides are the absolute best!!!
Ease of install was accomplished in less than thirty (30) minutes by my self at seventy eight years of age.
The main point i would like to emphasize is the sturdy, solid mount . Once installed the guides are rock solid !!!!
Kudos to your design. I brag to people who look at my rig about the guide ons!

RayD Good value boat trailer guides

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these guides. The square tubing is very stout and the corner brace just adds to the lateral strength. I use my boat strictly in fresh water, so corrosion is not much of a concern. The mounting hardware is good and fits nicely on my trailer frame. There are several reviews that mention the U-bolts twisting and breaking, My experience indicates they can easily handle the required torque to keep these guides in place (don't unnecessarily over torque and you will not have a problem). I did drill a 1/4 inch hole in the top of each PVC cap to prevent trapped air from floating off the PVC covers (although, one would have to over submerge the trailer for that to happen).
Yesterday was the first use on a really windy day. Winds were gusting up to 20 mph at 90 degrees to the ramp. As careful as I was, I still bounced off the the guides. They did their job and kept the boat off the trailer fenders and allowed me to quickly recover and properly trailer the boat. This boat is a 17' aluminum center console.
I recommend these guides.
