I would give it 0 stars if I could there are 0 redeeming factors about this specific electric furnace. My fist melt took an hour at least when I finally poured into a mold the crucible absorbed half of my metal. I'm used to a propane furnace which VEVOR propane furnaces are really good for the money. I did give the electric furnace a few more chances and it continually under performed slow heating, stops heating, and crazy temp changes it's now a ornament on my bench. Couldn't return it since I threw all the packaging away as I was confident it would replace my propane furnace. I needed to replace my vevor propane furnace which is why I purchased the electric and in the end I purchased a new propane furnace deciding not to stay with vevor due to the poor quality of electric furnace.

I cannot recommend this furnace because it is dangerous. The furnace itself is fine but the ceramic crucibles are fragile and prone to breakage. If they break inside the furnace it will damage it beyond repair. Breakage outside the furnace would be extremely dangerous and could result in a fire to the building. Vevor is aware of this problem and should be providing more durable graphite crucibles instead. Vevor has also reduced the diameter of the crucible opening so that it is not even possible to use the safer, industry standard 60 mm diameter graphite crucibles. For your own safety, choose a different furnace.

It arrived with glue all over the gloves and crucibles. The quality is a concern. They offered a discount. I’m still going to work on returning.

Recibí el horno y lo probé con 100 gramos de plata 925, estuvo una hora y media a 1060 grados centígrados (tiempo y temperatura mas que suficientes) y la plata ni siquiera se fundió un poco, de hecho no pasó nada. Volví a probar con tan solo 10 gramos de plata durante una hora a 1100 grados centígrados y tampoco pasó nada. Abrí la reclamación y me indicaron que me cambiarían el crisol. Ahora mismo estoy esperando recibirlo para probarlo, pero la verdad no tengo demasiadas expectativas. Cuando lo reciba, si funciona actualizaré esta reseña, si no, pediré devolución (que ya lo hice pero no quisieron contestar) y actualizaré por aquí igualmente. Actualización: No recibí el crisol, dicen que se perdió el envío. Ahora me piden destruir el horno y enviarles fotos. Estaba de vacaciones y no lo hice en una semana, ahora cierran el ticket como resuelto, cuando no he enviado nada ni ellso han devuelto el dinero. Abriré otro ticket y reclamaciones hasta que acepten que su producto no funciona y no deben engañar a las personas de esta forma. Seguiré actualizando este caso.

Does NOT melt gold and copper.Very disappointed.

Na 2de gebruik was de smeltkroes stuk ,het toestel was nog geen week oud.Al het gesmolten materiaal was in de smeltoven gelopen ,dus volledig stuk en kon het weggooien. Spijtig maar het waar.

Schmelzen fehlgeschlagen obwohl die Schmelztemparatur erreicht wurde

Ich habe den Artikel bestellt und noch nicht mal ausgepackt wollte auch wieder zurück schicken weil ich ein besseren Schmelzofen gefunden habe und von meinen fast 300€ Bieten sie mir nur 71€ Rückzahlung an das Grenz schon an Beleidigung !!

Je déconseille fortement ce produit que j'ai acheté le 09/06/2026 après reception tout est en bon état et semble correct seulement après environ 1 heure d'utilisation le four fait disjoncter le compteur électrique de mon domicile, je contacte le service client qui m'envoie une piece nomme fil chauffant a remplacer moi meme qui n'est plus en stock donc 10 a 15 jour de délai annoncé. Apres reception et remplacement de cette dernière par mes soins ( étape pas tres évidente a faire ) il fonctionne parfaitement. Seulement, 2h d'utilisation plus tard environ le four s'allume mais ne chauffe plus et ne monte pas en temperature, c'est pour je déconseille fortement d'acheter ce produit qui est de qualité médiocre de plus il y a beaucoup de délai et l'on vous demande d'effectuer le remplacement des composant électrique vous meme.
