Tooljunkie Does not fit Trex grooves without modification.

These do not fit the Trex groove. To remedy this, I used a router with a piloted bit to modify the groove on the Trex boards. Worked great after that.

Very good option & price point for these hidden fasteners verses trex brand. I would highly recommend this product, to anyone for composite decking installation. The only thing that should have been offered would be the small metal fasteners for first board and last board. That being said great product for the price.

I purchased this product twice to install my UltraDeck material, 20' x 20'. The PP plastic would seem to be the same material as the product endorsed by the manufacturers that promote Trex and UltraDeck and others that use this style of fastener although the design is slightly different, one "leg" vs. two. My concern is with the screw head. In my opinion the machining of the inter portion where the driver-bit sits is not consistent. When installing these screws you soon learn to start slowly and stay slow. I would set the driver-bit into the screw-head and ensure it was seated properly and then engage the power driver (drill) . Nearly 15% of these screws would start "stripping" right away. I carefully backed the screw out and started with a new one. But in a few cases I had to cut the screw off or remove with a pliers. The screw is a light alloy material and very unforgiving! Despite this issue, cost was the factor, 10 cents each for these versus 30 cents for the other. For a homeowner these are fine but no-way as contractor would I take a chance on these.

For some tracks models they’re way too thick and even hitting them in with a hammer won’t work. I would like my money back.

These are too thick for the top line decking slots. We couldn't get them in the grooves at all.They were made well but fixed wrong. I never had a problem with Vevor before. All the products were spot on
