I've run a tent rental business for 20 years. This thing is essentially an improved (wider base, bigger teeth) jackjaw for a fraction of the price. The only thing to note is it doesn't come with an attachment to fit over a stake head, but that can be easily made by a local metal shop in your area. A no brainer in my opinion as this is undoubtedly the best bang for your buck for a manual powered stake puller.

I bought this to pull 1-inch tent stakes for my tent rental business, and it's been a great addition to my equipment.
There was a little bit of a learning curve at first. I found that putting my foot on the jaw assembly helped the jaws fully engage the stake before lifting. Using a small piece of wood under the base also made it easier when working on softer or uneven ground. Once I figured that out, it worked really well.
It saves a lot of effort compared to pulling tent stakes by hand, especially after a long day of tearing down tents. For the price, it's an excellent value, and I'd definitely buy it again.

Mi occupo di manutenzione stradale e paesaggistica, quindi devo rimuovere continuamente pali di materiali e forme differenti. Questo estrattore riesce a serrare saldamente sia i pali metallici che quelli in legno, oltre ai supporti per i segnali stradali. Non devo cambiare attrezzi continuamente durante il lavoro. La presa è sempre sicura e stabile in ogni situazione. Un alleato indispensabile per il mio lavoro quotidiano.

Fail. Won’t grip the post. We own several different types of pullers (fence company) and wanted to try this for an easy-to-carry backup option. Just slips on any steel post we have tried to pull. It’s going in the dumpster.

JC Doesn't work with 1" Tent Stakes
Bought this to pull tent stakes and it works terribly. The jaws just slide upthe stake instead of gripping it. Might work better on larger stakes, but it does not work well on thinner 1-inch stakes. Would not recommend.
