I purchased this unit on Oct 14, 2024 and put it in service in June 0f 2025. From June until December it worked like a charm. However, after six months of use the unit started to form an ice block inside the housing. This ice block reduces the efficiency of the unit and generates noise which makes it unusable. I unplugged the unit and let it thaw out, cleaned the unit and put it back in service and shortly thereafter the ice block formed again. I have contacted Vevor support and they diagnosed that the unit has lost refrigerant and additional refrigerant needs to be added. This is a closed system and I have been unable to get any local shop to work on it. Vevor has no suggestions for a qualified person that can do the work in my area which is very large (san Francisco bay area all the way to Sonoma county). At this point this unit is proving to useless after six months of use. Vevor's offer of $40.00 for service repair is a kind gesture, but they cannot suggest a repair facility that can perform the work is not helpful, by the way i check online and one can of the smallest portion of the refrigerant costs over $100.00. Its hard to rate the other features of this product any higher if the quality makes it useless.....

Zero Stars for Vevor and this item. I can't rate it properly because it arrived totally smashed up. It was clearly dropped in transit. The drop was so severe that it bent the entire metal housing. One of the bottom corners is so bent that the rubber foot screws in at a 45 degree angle. The filter door is bent and wont open. There are loose parts rattling around inside. The compressor bent the bottom of the casing when it was dropped. Velour's response when I reached out to them: "test the machine to see if it can start and run normally." It's smashed and there response was "Yeah, but does it still kinda work?" Vevor has been brutal to deal with and they are giving me the run around, rather than processing a return and or refund. Their submission forms don't work. This review form isn't allowing me to add pictures. Garbage cheap Chinese on all fronts from product to customer service.

The unit arrived well packed, after powering it it up the fan works but not the compressor, I reached out to customer service and after of weeks of going back and forth they concluded the compressor was leaking which in fact there was signes of leakage underneath. They offered me $150 and get the unit repaired locally on my own expense. DO not buy this unit as you will be waiting money. On top of it I never received the the $150

When i first got it i was pulling 5 gallons a day out of the basement but now 8 months later it wont pull the humidity down at all

Had the device for a couple years now. Felt i should write a review since it takes forever to have customer service help me. my unit must have only worked for a week or so, its still clean as a whistle. E2 ERROR CODE. Research shows - Could be sensor, screen or the over pressure in the unit. Wth

I was excited to find a dehumidifier that has an AHAM rating for 60 pints per day at this price as that's quite a deal! Unfortunately this unit doesn't do anywhere near 60 pints per day in a 80 degree environment with 60% humidity(that is what AHAM rating goes off off). If fact, this thing does what any run of the mill 50 pint per day (saturation point, not aham rated) dehu does. This thing pulls half of what it says it does. Pretty disappointed as I had to buy a sump pump to run it so this thing ended up costing me more than something I could've gotten at home depot. Definitely won't be buying dehumidifiers from vevor again.

Easy to setup and use but didn’t even last a year

Dehumidifyer never worked, ran for several days and never got a single drop of water out of it. Returned for a complete refund. Vevor customer service stayed on top of the issue and were easy to deal with.

Stopped working in under 2 years..

Way over priced, doesn't work and customer service sucks.
