See pictures I first bought a 36 inch case: five stars! See beige picture below. Easily the best hard case on the market for THAT price. Close tight due to design with guide inserts to better align when closing. Better/stronger closing design. Straight 90 degree wheel end allowing the case to stand straight up by itself, pressure valve vent. Exceeds expectations. Highly recommended. (certainly waterproof but probably not watertight for dunking under water. It is not a $600 expedition grade case but it beats anything under 200) Having that in mind, I blindly bought 2x40 inches. Same line of product so same quality right?... Wrong The 40 inch (black picture). Miss alligned closing, poor sealing, no more guide bumps, flimsy closing mechanism, angled wheel end so can't no longer stand straight up by itself, on off screwing vent (no more pressure valve). These cost saving cuts turned a perfect case to a so so case. I left 3 stars because it is still valuable for the price. But a big drop in quality compared to its little 36 inch brother.

Reasonable value for the money. I was looking for a case to throw in the back of the ute when out hunting. The foam insert is easy to pull apart to make space for the rifle and mags. I found that when closing the case, the lid tends to twist and buckle a bit. The latch system passable. Overall the plastic case is too soft and does not seal when closed. You can see from the pictures, the flex in the case. But it does the job for the price. I have other cases that cost considerably more for long-distance travel by plane, etc.

So my first hard rifle case was great. Highly recommend my expectations. Therefore, I ordered a second one. The second case, however, does not seal or close correctly at all that are large gaps when case is supposed to be closed. I contacted customer service and have had the runaround so far..... frustrated

Der Koffer an sich ist in Ordnung, wobei ich mir bei dieser Länge zusätzlich seitliche Schließmechanismen gewünscht hätte. Das Hauptproblem ist leider die Würfelpolsterung. Bei meinem Exemplar waren viele der vorgeschnittenen Würfel nicht ausreichend oder teilweise gar nicht durchgeschnitten, sodass sie sich nicht sauber voneinander trennen ließen und dabei unschön eingerissen sind. Ich habe den Kundenservice kontaktiert, konnte das Problem jedoch leider nicht sinnvoll auf Bildern darstellen, da schlicht zu viele Würfel betroffen waren. Der Kundenservice hat den Fall daraufhin einfach geschlossen. Sehr enttäuschend.

Definitely not weather proof with the gaps in the seal but I don't plan on taking it out in the rain so it'll do.

The edges don't line up very well on mine causing it to look janky but it still closes and I'm able to get a lock through the holes. HFT has theirs on sale right now for $99 (bigger version of this) i feel like I should have waited and seen what I was buying in person. Wish I had ordered more foam too. All in all, it's ok.

This case is defective and/or poorly constructed! The lid is warped upwards on both ends and consequently, does not seal properly or align well to the bottom when closed and latched. VERY SLOPPY! THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE LEFT THE FACTORY FLOOR.

just another disappointment again! There is no way that it can achieve IP67 while there are gaps along the sides! Simply look at both end of the gun case, a 0.7mm huge gap that you can see the black rubber seal inside! Not to mention whether can it block the water or moisture for gun & rifle transportation! Disappointed! I just asked for return and refund and there is a waiting time of 48 hours before someone contact me via email even if I already provided pictures on the defective item!
