custom transmission jack

jack has been good so far. so far I used it for r&r transfer case, jack up trans to r&r cross member, even used it to hold exhaust so I can bolt it up. what I like about this jack is it goes lower than other lift jacks but still goes as high if not higher than other lift jacks. it seems like a good quality jack at a good price but my jack is only a month old so lets see how long it lasts.

Used to replace clutch disc on Jeep Wrangler. Worked great for handling offset weight of transfer case. Was able to easily horizontally and vertically realign trans input shaft to splined clutch disc.

The carriage is missing a tilt function. You can either tilt forward and backwards OR side to side depending on how you put the transmission on the jack. Anyone who has put a transmission in knows you need to be able to move the transmission in eleventeen directions to get it installed. Overall, it's worth the price, I also had to lower the vehicle as the jack does not go quite high enough to pull a transmission at full height of my lift. The chains are kind of a joke, I just use rachet straps to tie the transmission to the jack. It is fairly sturdy.
