I purchased the 8 ton jack to use with my tilt deck trailer, I recently added a bunch of modifications to the front end and it no longer tilted. I wanted something cheap and easy to lift the front end of the trailer up and came across this. It was exactly what I was looking for, however alot of the paint flaked away on its first road trip and immediately started rusting. I had to sand the original paint off and repaint it with a more durable paint and the cylinder rod is not chromed so it is also rusting. We will see how long this works before it doesn't. As i said in the title, I believe the intended use of this product is for an engine hoist in a garage so I can't say whether or not it is poor quailty or misuse. Works great for tilting the trailer though, lots of pumping but makes it much easier to unload.

The hose that pumps the hydraulic pump up is dry rotted and it will not work with the air. only works hand pump

Ho sostituito il pistone della mia gruetta con uno Vevor otto TN. devo dire che il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo,con poche modifiche l'ho montato e subito sollevato gruppo motore cambio di un grosso diesel senza alcun cedimento,unico neo avrei preferito un sistema di discesa più pratico..e x questo me lo son fatto,ora è perfetto,spedizione rapida e imballaggio ottimo

Works as it should. Doesn’t hold the load. Drifts down within an hour. The air cylinder stopped working after the second lift cycle. Overall would recommend

Good jack for the price. But needs better clips for the pins. Should upgrade the cheap clips for cotter pins. But other wise all and all a good jack

Only issue was resolved a day later was my only complaint but took care of the issue made it right vevor looks out for there customers

I bought this ram to replace an old jack with leaky seals in my engine hoist. The old jack had issues pumping up, but held its position indefinitely. I have had to have multiple Vevor rams as replacements, both with the same failure mode. The first new Vevor jack I got pumped up fine, but would quickly loose its pressure/position over a few hours time. Vevor sent me a replacement second ram, after a bit of back and forth with their technical support team. Unfortunately, the second ram has the exact same failure mode. Not matter how hard I tighten the hydraulic bleed valve, these rams will lose their position over just a relatively short period of time. It works okay to pick up an engine in the hoist, but I do not trust it to maintain that position for more then a few minutes, it will drop slowly with no load, I would not trust it unsupervised with a load. I've attempted to talk to a real person in the technical team, without success. I would like to know how to fix this as I have little confidence a third unit would be any different.
