Exactly what I wanted. Great product. Heavy-duty, sturdy, all parts needed were supplied. Instructions were enough.

Ho installato due di questi corrimano su gradini in pietra e muratura. Pro: Robusta struttura in acciaio saldato. Classico aspetto in ferro battuto. Ottima finitura. Angolo regolabile per adattarsi all'alzata della scala. Include viti autofilettanti per ancoraggi in legno e muratura. Contro: Due delle quattro coperture della piastra di base erano ammaccate durante la spedizione. La distanza tra i pali NON è regolabile, i punti di snodo sono saldati al corrimano. La punta da trapano per muratura mostrata nella foto NON è inclusa. Sono necessari una punta da muratura da 3/8" e un trapano a percussione. Le chiavi incluse nel kit non applicano una coppia sufficiente per montare i pali in sicurezza. The three main components {legs and rail} are solid parts, but from there it goes south. As assembled, the rail is very unstsble because the attachment point between leg and rail is very poor and needs 2-3 thin spring washers (not supplied) to get, a needed, stable rail. The plastic boxs covering the rail legs to floor nuts and bolts is terrible. It's a very nice rail assemblyto be proud of but the plastic boxes will fall apart and/or blow away in no time. having a workshop I bored out two pieces of oak, pained them black and have a very nice looking rail assembly.

The rail ended up working out, but it was more work than it should have been. The rail did not fit snugly with the supports, so it rattled back and forth. I had to put pieces of rubber cut from a bike tire between the two upright tabs on the support and the downward pointing toung of the rail in order to stabilize it, which was quite some trouble. Also, the bolts and the drill bit that come with it are all metric and the drill bit is not compatible with American hammer drills. I think it was 9 mm and I had to substitute with a 3/8 inch drill bit which worked well enough but required some more shopping. In the end it seems sturdy.

I have installed the rail, it was nice and firm. Since then it has come loose from above the bolts in the concrete. The bolts are still tight but the leg it self has come loose. Is that supposed to happen?
