gas tank started leaking in the middle where the gas pump holer is...it was a good product for a little while but i cant have it leaking all over the place..hope i can return it

Fuel tank is very nice but several of the connections leak no matter how tight you make them. The unit I have leaks from the very bottom connection and also the crank hose connection.

This Review is being written more than a year after I purchased this to fill Kerosene into a large heater I have at my business. This could easily be 5 stars except for the poor quality hose clips that come with it. These couldn't be tightened enough to prevent liquid seeping out so I replaced these with much better quality ones from my local hardware store. The other issue with this container is the shut off valve where the hose attaches at the bottom. This is in a very awkward place If you needed to prevent the contents from filling into the hose like I do when storing Kerosene. Otherwise the tank and the hand pump are excellent and I would highly reccommend. Be careful though as this is very heavy when filled. The tank itself is very robust and the hand pump works great for my needs.

Tank is still new to me, but it does operate like it should. I did think that the hose clamps were on the cheap side. The strip out when i crank them down tight. I had to buy some good automotive store hose clams to replace the ones that came with the tank. One thing that takes some getting use to is having to bend over to operate the crank. This makes it hard to keep an eye on the fuel level and amount going in the tank your filling. The grounding strap (which i didn't know came with it by the way) gets in the way when cranking it. The hose has some weird back pressure on it so it is impossible to drain it off when done, but I just put it in a bucket to make sure it don't make a mess. The bottom outlet of tank has an on/off valve which is nice but its inset and hard from me to get my fingers inside the indention to rotate it. I would like to see them put the battery operated pump on it that auto stops, but I know that would raise the price. Also I didn't want to keep batteries laying around at the farm. The crank eliminates that problem.

Hose is not the right size, wheels and axle came off after a few months. Handle is flimsy. Poor quality.

Petrol good quality but to lose for fitting and post clamps. It’s really bad quality. Can you try to tighten it up? Petrol leaking the slip and I’ve been forced to go to Bunnings and buying new house clamp.

Had to tighten every connection to stop it from leaking. Otherwise it was a ok.

Product is as described, but was expecting a little bit more quality. I've purchased many Vevor products and have been pleased with the quality and price of them. Not to discourage anyone from purchasing this gas tank, as it does function and work as it should.

Bottom connection leaks no matter what I try. I store it laying down so only a problem while being used. The rest of the quality is great.

This is a well built gas can, but the hose does not fit the fittings used on the gas can. The hose is too large for the fittings and it causes gas to leak at the fittings where the hoses are connected. This would be an easy fix if Vevor vendor would just do it. If the seller of this gas can would read the comments they would know this and correct the issue why don’t they?
