Derek Unbreathable Air
The compressor arrived quickly and was in excellent condition. It was easy to wire up and I was pumping tanks in no time at all. The problem after filling 4 cylinders to 3000psi is that the air smells like oil. I don't think I would breathe the air from this unit. I think it would be great for filling paintball tanks but not breathing air. Unless there is something more I need to do. The manual is very hard to understand as well.

The assembly on this compressor was very poor when I got the unit the blue control module had came loose and was just hanging I repaired the loose control module and then tried to start the unit it still did not work. . looking closer I saw the the control wire from the thermostat had been pulled off as well. I repaired this and got the unit to run. But while using the unit several of the case bolts vibrated loose. I added washer to the case bolts and tighten them and hopefully this does the trick. It is just disappointing I had to go through all of this to get the unit to work

If you need high pressure air do not buy this. I have had nothing but a problem with it. The shipment was delayed to start with, not a big deal. The compressor arrived and was not secured in the crate, again not a big deal. The problems started when using it. The pressures would get up to 2,000 PSI then blew an o ring on the water separator side of the pump. I found another o ring and was able to build up to 2,500 psi and then another o ring blew. The latest issue is I thought I had all the weak points fixed. At 3,800 PSI the o ring on the top of the oil separator blew. Long story short if you need anything over 2,000 PSI look for a different compressor or have alot of o rings around to replace it after running for a few minutes.
