This rooftop basket is great - well made with good steel tube construction, nice welding and painting, and adjustable size (very simple and secure assembly). I had around 150 lbs in it at the 61” length on a GLC300. I just drove 1788 miles without a problem and low wind noise. The gas mileage dropped a few, but that’s to be expected.

È un portapacchi abbastanza decente. Non molto pesante. Sono riuscito a montarlo sul tetto della mia Suburban da solo. L'aspetto negativo è che il Vevor sul davanti è piuttosto vistoso. Non sono decalcomanie che si staccano facilmente. Alcuni hanno detto di averlo levigato e ridipinto, ma io ho usato un po' di spray per il fondo e ci ho messo sopra qualche mano per coprirlo, poi ho usato un po' di vernice nera opaca e ho dipinto il tutto per abbinarlo.

It is a pretty decent roof rack. Not very heavy. I was able to put it on top of my Suburban by myself. The negative about it is, The Vevor on the front it pretty gawdy. It's not decals that peel off easily. Some have said they sanded it off and repainted, but I used some undercoating spray and put a few coats on it to cover it up then used some flat black paint and painted the whole thing to match.
