I purchased this shear about a month ago. It doesn't cut my metal properly; in fact, it starts cutting in the middle of the blade rather than at the beginning where the top and bottom of the blades meet. Additionally, it has only a metric measuring ruler instead of having both millimeters and inches. The blade guard is cumbersome to attach and the screw holes don't line up properly. I've contacted VEVOR about this issue and have yet to get a solution other than to tell me to start cutting at the beginning of the blade, which clearly doesn't work. I've been waiting two weeks for an answer to my issue but just keep getting the runaround. I've used guillotine shears for years and have never had an issue like this. I'm very disappoin ted in both the product and customer service.

Werkzeug im Auslieferungszustand nicht brauchbar! Bei der gelieferten Blechschere besteht das gleiche Problem wie bei Kevin. Amboss und Schneidrad überlappen und können nicht so eingestellt werden, dass sie leicht saugend parallel zueinander laufen. Der Halter ist einfach zu schmal. So ist diese Schere nicht brauchbar und auch den reduzierten Preis nicht wert! Laut Beschreibung soll sie bei Lieferung optimal eingestellt sein. Das sah dann so aus, dass das Schneidrad so verkantet und verspannt eingebaut war, dass sich das Schneidrad gar nicht drehen konnte. Das sollte doch jedem Mitarbeiter des Herstellers auf den ersten Blick auffallen. Gibt es eine Qualitätssicherung beim Hersteller? Schade Wenn Sie sich an den Support richten, landen Sie bei einer Ki, die immer freundliche Mails generiert, aber Ihnen nicht weiterhilft, aber stets Bilder anfordert, auch wenn Sie schon mehrfach geschickt wurden .

Tried to cut a 1,5 mm steel plate, but a shear pin inside broke iand it is now unusable. But it was good for cutting aluminum plates and easy to cut round shapes. Have tried to replace the shear pin with a piece of a drillbit, but the material is a bit warped and I will have to use an angle grinder to remove it, but I think it will be possible to use it again. Will only use it for Aluminium in the future since the steel is to soft for proper operation when cutting steel

I am afraid to say this is not very good quality used it first time and broke not very robust and engeeniring is of a low quality so not good

Pessimo articolo, sicuramente dal prezzo cosi contenuto l avrei dovuto capire fin da subito, tuttavia avevo necessità di una taglierina e questa era l unica disponibile in pochi giorni. E' praticamente inutilizzabile, oltre ad essere vecchia, si percepisce dallo stato di usura della vernice che sia stata prodotta qualche anno fa e conservata male in deposito. Presenta un errore tecnico che è rappresentato da uno "scalino", che rende impossibile un taglio non sbeccato. Non trovo quale altro utilizzo se ne possa fare, di certo non taglia fogli di allumino neanche di 4/10 di spessore (poco più di un foglio di carta. Sconsigliatissimo

the shear is ok but very hard to use on flat bar

The description says it will cut steel to .08 (80 thousandths) thick, which is 14 gauge steel. I am using a lot of 16ga HOT ROLLED steel, and it will not cut it. I have had to resort to using a plasma cutter or friction blade and trimming/finishing. To see what it would cut, I cut some 20gauge aluminum sheet just fine, as well as some 20gauge hot rolled steel. Even cold-rolled steel at 18 gauge would not cut. So, since I bought this to do 16 gauge steel, its a big disappointment. But I do a lot of circuit board work and it cuts FR4 easily so I'll keep it for that. One reviewer says he uses it to cut 12Gauge steel, I dont see how.
