Lacks strength - Larger Bikes

The top head portion of the stand came rivited backwards.

Pied pour velo jusqu'à 40kgs, en théorie. J ai un vélo de 12.5kgs et c est "juste" bien. A la commande je me suis méfié et en ai pris un qui supporte bien plus lourd, et heureusement. Les colliers de serrages rapide sont en plastics dommage, j' espère qu ils vont tenir....Normal, on en a que pour son argent.

Overall I liked it, but seems to slip on the tilt mechanism teeth,like it should fit tighter. No way to adjust the tightness, if it could be made a little tighter the problem wouldn't exist.

It always unclips and falls over, feels like it’s been made eith cheap plastic.

Après livraison en temps et heure, j'ai testé ce pied d'atelier supportant une charge jusqu'à 36,3 kg. Cet avis intéressera certainement les possesseurs de vélo électrique d'environ 30 kg (sans la batterie). Si les barres verticale et horizontale, en acier, sont robustes et supportent correctement la charge du vélo. Celui-ci a un cadre ouvert, il est donc obligatoire d'utiliser la tige de selle pour le monter à hauteur d'homme. Et là petit problème, l'axe ou est monté la pince tourne, et celle-ci ne peut lever hors sol, les 2 roues en même temps. La roue avant reste en contact avec le sol. Bien qu'ayant serrer à l'aide d'une clé multi prises, la molette de l'axe de pince. Donc si vous envisagez de purger le frein arrière, il faudra utiliser un artifice pour maintenir en position haute la roue avant. Pour ma part, J'ai utilisé un escabeau pour résoudre ce problème. Prix plus que raisonnable. Stabilité parfaite de l'ensemble, vélo installé sur la pince. Je conseille d'être au moins 2 pour positionner correctement le vélo dans la pince. Car seul , cela reste un sacré exercice de musculation. Si vous possédez un vélo musculaire, pas de problème, ce pied fait largement le boulot.

Arrived missing parts and with the head assembled (pinned not screwed, would need to be drilled out to fix) back-to-front. Head doesn’t clamp very tightly either - no way it holds 38kg by the seat post. Contacted Vevor who offered a full refund (which I accepted)

First impression good. However, in use it turned out to be weak. The adjustments cannot withstand the weight of a 20 kg bike, even though the product description claims otherwise. The adjustment mechanisms are weak, I have had to repair them several times in two weeks.

I use my stand pretty regularly and it works well. BUT it also has some really obvious oversights that are a bit head scratching. The locking mechanism for the clamp is nylon on nylon teeth (VERY little friction to bite with) and the handle that tightens it up before engaging the lock mechanism (flip the handle) is not able to be tightened up if the mechanism doesn’t fully tighten properly and is a bit loose. Would recommend using something n th clamp to protect the frame, since it’s nylon not rubber that touches the frame
