Pretty slick. I was looking for something to put in the bedroom for extra security as well as safety issues around non licensed handgun family members, I live in Canada and our laws are pretty strict

I have the side push and the drop down style. The side push I feel is better quality and there’s a spot for your mag. The drop down style has no spot for a mag. I have a hard time with the finger print because I work with my hands and my prints are always messed up and dirty I guess. A lot of the time I have to use the code. It’s nice to have options.

Arrived ahead of schedule. Unpacked the pistol drawer and was very impressed at the ease of operation, set up and entry of a personal security.

I was looking for a safe without the barrel style lock and this is it! The keyhole is also out of sight (on the bottom) which I like. Seems like a decent quality inexpensive safe so I am happy!

There are a lot of these type safes on the market, but this one has the better mounting plate. Most others only have 1 or 2 mounting screws that secure the plate to the safe. This has 4, making it a more solid mount and a little harder to crowbar off. And the foam insert is softer and denser than the cheap foam others use. One downside, the grease they use to lube the sliding tracks smells awful.
