Just received and like it so far. Finger print reader works well. Really like have the different options for opening the safe.

Works well... Sometimes. For the price it's decent, but far from perfect. Here's a potential dealbreaker: If you accidentally bump one of the numeric keypad buttons (very easy to do) when attempting to scan a fingerprint the safe will not accept your fingerprint, only the numeric code, which, by the way is very likely to be incorrect since you just bumped a button mistakenly. Now you're stuck waiting while the zombies close in. If you carefully press the numeric buttons until it flashed red once it seems to reset and allow you in, but it's slow, flaky and error-prone... And now there's a zombie trying to eat your brain. Good luck, pumpkin!

The safe itself is awesome and the mounting is really nice, slide mechanism is great, and I genuinely like everything about the physical design. However, there are two major pain points that are "no go's" for me. If you input the wrong code once, the safe completely locks up, beeps like crazy and you cannot access it even with the correct fingerprint or code for several minutes. I can only imagine trying to get into my safe in the middle of the night when I need it and this BS happens. It is a significant safety risk. In addition, you can only upload one fingerprint, which is just dumb, especially considering the preceding issue. I bought two of these and they are likely headed for the garbage unfortunately.

I need to return this. It's great, just to big. The company has made it very difficult and cumbersome. Much more than necessary. Day after day they want me to answer this question then that question. It feels like it's designed to discourage me to just give

J'ai acheté ce coffre suite au piratage du SIA. Les + : La reception est tres rapide. La mise en route du coffre est simple et rapide, juste un bouton. Les - : L'installation est trop legere a mon gout. 4 simples vis et chevilles sont fournies. J'ai remplacé par du plus solide. Pas de possibilité de fixer le coffre sur la partie arriere, la fixation se fait obligatoirement sur la partie droite ou gauche, avec possibilité de renforcer sur le dessus. Maintenant le plus embettant, le systeme biometrique semble se deregler, ou alors il est de mauvaise qualité, car a plusieurs reprise l'emprunte configuré ne fonctionne plus.

Malheureusement le produit est inadapté pour un jpx4 .Il est trop large pour l’emplacement prévu ce qui empêche la fermeture du coffre. Vraiment dommage…

This is a hard review for me. We purchased 2 gun safes. My husband installed the first one and it worked perfectly. Very happy with that product. He did not get to install the 2nd safe for several weeks and unfortunately this safe was a problem right away. The door sticks badly no matter if you use a code or the key and this was before actually mounting it. Since he had already mounted the first one he assumed that there was something dragging/catching on on the inside. Nothing could be found. He tried oiling the slide and that didn't help. Opening this safe is unreliable and the door only opens after repeatedly hitting the side of the case. Obviously it is not usable. We do not want to have anything get stuck inside or have it not open when needed. It is our bad that we did not install it right away so the 30 day return period expired. Honestly, I think we just got a bad one. I have no doubt that if we had contacted Vevor within the return period they would have honored it. I have been very happy with every other product we have purchased. Gun safe #1 - 5 stars Gun safe #2 - 1 star (not usable)

I received this safe in the summer, installed it in a stationary place and the biometrics worked flawlessly until the winter rolled around and for some reason now it has lost some of my finger prints but the key worked fine . I re entered my prints and the same thing happened and only lost a couple of my prints. I am assuming it is do to the fact that the very dry winter air has made my finger prints less readable . Will have to wait till spring to see if there is a change.

I find for some reason that after say 2 months if you don't open it, it will forget your finger print other then that its alright, not the best but not the worst
