When I ordered this helmet I wasn’t expecting much I just needed an inexpensive helmet to start learning how to weld at 73. When I pulled it out of the box I wasn’t expecting much but amazed at the quality and it also came with a set of replacement cover lenses. The adjustable head gear was very easy to adjust and after adjusting the helmet was very comfortable to wear. The adjustment knobs on the automatic darkening unit a easy to understand and the one knob on the outside is simple to dial in the shade the lens darkens to very simple in design but effective in getting the proper shade depending on what you need. The viewing area was more than plenty to see what you need to see. In fact I liked the area visibly sort of frames in to the weld without trying to look out a big window which could cause lack of concentration while laying down your bead. For me this is the perfect viewing area. Response to darkening is amazingly fast so assured of protecting my eyes. While the plastic helmet itself is a little thin it is still ridgid and lightweight enough to hold up for a long time. At this price point I don’t think you could get a better helmet anywhere.

Very happy with the quality of this helmet for the price. All of the settings are easy to understand and work as they should.

This is the second helmet I purchased because of the quality of this helmet and the price. Also I got it in case I have a visitor over that they would be protected. The response time to darken is excellent and adjustable. The ability to adjust the degree of darkness from the knob on the side of the helmet. Again while the plastic is a little thinner but in no way affects the rigidity. The fit and finish seems to be well made. The four sensors, the quality headband and features this helmet offers for the price is unmatched compared to other helmets in this price range. Also supplied with the helmet was 2 front lens replacements and 1 inside lens replacement. Even 2 extra batteries and 2 batteries all ready installed. While both of mine came in gloss black instead of matte black as advertised I’m still pleased with my purchase. Shipping was lightning fast and communication via email was excellent.

Ho abbinato questa maschera autoscurante alla mia nuova saldatrice e devo dire che ne sono rimasto davvero entusiasta. Funziona in modo impeccabile e offre una sicurezza visiva eccezionale per i lavori in officina o in garage. I punti di forza: Sensibilità e reattività al top: Impostando la sensibilità verso l'alto (Hi), i sensori intercettano all'istante l'arco elettrico. L'oscuramento è praticamente immediato, zero abbagliamenti e massima protezione per gli occhi. Regolazioni complete: Il pannello dei comandi laterale è comodissimo e facilissimo da usare. Ha tutto quello che serve: la regolazione dei gradi di oscuramento (Shade da 9 a 13), il selettore per la modalità saldatura, taglio o molatura (Weld/Cut/Grind) e il controllo del ritardo di riapertura (Delay), fondamentale per non prendere colpi di luce quando il cordone è ancora incandescente. Visibilità ottima: Il display offre un'ottima nitidezza e permette di controllare perfettamente il bagno di fusione e i bordi del giunto mentre si salda. L'unica pecca: Un po' pesante: Se devo trovare un piccolo difetto, la maschera risulta leggermente pesante se indossata per sessioni di lavoro molto lunghe e continuative. Regolando bene la crociera interna sulla testa si riesce a bilanciare discretamente il carico, ma qualche grammo in meno l'avrebbe resa perfetta. Giudizio finale: Al di là del peso, a cui ci si fa l'abitudine, mi piace davvero tanto. Fa il suo dovere alla perfezione e garantisce una protezione professionale a un prezzo accessibile. Promossa a pieni voti, la ricomprerei sicuramente!
