honeybellfarms Raise pasture pigs with confidence
Bought the Vevor fence controller at the beginning of September, installed 600 feet of polywire in a few days on pvc pipe and cable ties, connected the polywire with one leg of an old drop cord to the controller setup in the chick house. Plugged the charger in on day three, and two of my 6 month old pigs hit it immediately. The polywire is white with copper threads and the animals can clearly see that it's there where they shouldn't go. The first few days there were two instances where the green light went to red indicating a ground leak. I walked the line and found both shorts easily. Since September 6th (now the 26th), I check for the green light to insure that the power is on the hot line, didn't yet hookup the horn, may do so now, we'll see, constant flashing green. I've added 3 more pigs to the area, and they respect the polywire boundary. Best investment and enclosure I've made in my many years of farming.

Looks good, does it's job! Easy to install, nice that you can use either a solar powered battery setup or just plug it into the wall.
