Beautiful and precise blocks that can speed set up and increase the accuracy of your work. Also like the color.

I used a Mitutoyo micrometer to measure the calibrated thickness by taking two points on each gage block, one at a lower end, and one at the upper end; the 1/16” block is out of tolerance. I also measured some of the widths, the majority of them were within the 0.5” +/- .001, however the 1/16” was out at 0.0014”. I would say that this is an excellent set for the price, however the 1/16” was made out of tolerance, they probably had to do a separate setup for this block because it is the smallest size. Also, I measured the 1x2x3 gauge block, that thing is 1.00000”, I didn’t want to take out my calipers for the 2” and 3” dimension. I would say that the blocks seem to be machined with a slight taper so this set is definitely not to be used as parallels. If the 1/16” block were made into tolerance (or not part of the set), then this set is definitely worth 5/5 for the price point, in fact, I would say that this set is amazing.
