These are great posts bases. Strong and durable. 4 star rating inly because one bracket was in two pieces and was not useable. Would buy and use again in the future.

The post bases are great. The screws to hold the base itself are beefy and are good. However, the screws for the posts themselves have a lot to be desired. 1. They’re cheap, small and wouldn’t hold anything and if someone puts pressure on them they would topple the post and depending what the post base is used for could topple the structure. What I would recommend is the holes used to attach the post to the post base be made at least 5/16” to give it some meat to hold on to. I would include SS 5/16” lag bolts as well. No one wants rust. Also, I would decrease the 3.6 hole for the base by 0.05 to make it 3.55” for the 4x4 that goes in the post base. The reason being is that you have to shim the 4x4 just to keep it plumb and level.

One damaged Post Base.

I ordered these for the Pavilion that I am building for my outdoor kitchen. I was told that they were delivered, yet I've still not seen them. Supposedly they were dropped off by the carrier but no one at my house has seen them. We have a Ring cam so I know that no one took them from my porch and I also know that I saw no one deliver them. Guess I'm just out the $55.00 that I paid Vevor along with the additional $180 I had to spend elsewhere to buy the bases that I needed. I'm hoping that if I do decide to continue shopping with Vevor my future purchases go MUCH better. I'm building an outdoor kitchen and Vevor has a lot of things that I need. I guess we will see.

Bolt hold down device works poorly, better with just bolts on their own

Quality was not good. Was not square at all, very unsatisfied with this product

The product images on the vevor site show these being used as the base of railing, when you read the included instructions you will find that they do not recommend that usage but this is not mentioned anywhere on the listing, I tested these out with 12 inch lag bolts drilled into the top of a retaining wall and the brackets immediately deformed with light pressure applied at the top of a 36” post. Don’t waste your money, getting a refund will be impossible
