Recensioni dei clienti per VEVOR Barriera Antiallagamento Set di Sacco di Sabbia per Allagamento Senza Sabbia per Protezione Antiallagamento Sacchi Antiallagamento per Porte Seminterrato Garage Set di Sacco 6 pz

These seemed like a smart thing to keep around with all the rain lately. I liked that they stay flat for storage and do not take up much room in the garage. The setup looks simple since you just add water instead of dealing with filling traditional sandbags. I picked these more for peace of mind and emergency prep, and they seem useful to have ready before storm season gets messy.

We bought the VEVOR Flood Barrier 6 Pack because our detached garage sits at the bottom of a hill and during heavy rain our French drains sometimes can’t keep up. We needed something quick to help redirect water before it started pooling near the garage doors. These were actually really easy to set up and worked better than I expected. Once filled, they stay in place well and help slow down and divert the water flow during storms. We’ve already used them a few times during heavy rain and they definitely helped reduce the amount of water making its way toward the garage. The material feels durable and reusable, which was important since we plan to keep them on hand for future storms. They also store fairly easily when not in use. Overall, these gave us some extra peace of mind during bad weather and have been a practical solution for our drainage issues.

I want to encourage anyone that has water runoff issues to consider getting these as backup protection. However, I think they fall short as actual flood barrier protection. As shown on the webpage, when wet they are only less than half as high as a typical sandbag. They are quite heavy when soaked and water seeping under them, especially when used on a flat surface like a driveway, is unlikely. The manufacturer does not state they are reusable, but leaving a soaked one sitting in the sun may dry it out so it can be reused. Their big advantage is prior to deployment and getting soaked, which is necessary for them to be effective, they are very compact, light weight, easily stored and quickly deployed without any advance preparation, all features not found in traditional sandbags. They are a good value for insurance against minor flooding especially against garage doors.

The VEVOR flood barrier bags are a great invention. I live in SWFL on the gulf coast and we have hurricanes and tropical storms quite regularly, it is a part of living in paradise. We are used to getting sandbags ready to keep your garage from getting floodwaters in it, or boarding up first floors for wind driven water in the seems of our windows. Wow I was so excited to see these barrier bags. The bags come in a 6 pack. They are dry and compact when they come shipped to your home. The bags are a black plastic with tight mesh so water can come into the bag and activate the barriers. The theory is you will stack the bags along the bottom of your door frames, garage door, or sliding doors. When the waters start to rise it will soak into the bags and the bags will make a water seal at the level you have placed them. ***From past experience I will suggest that you place a water proof barrier of plastic sheathing or tarp under the bags and then up and the wall and hang over the top. This will help to keep water from getting in any gaps you may have left unprotected. I have not tried these with a hose because this will take forever to dry back out but I will say after laying them out it is pretty obvious they will work for one or two entry doors at our house. I hope they will just sit in my hurricane supplies but I feel confident they will work. They are a great value and keep you from busting your back filling up and moving sand bags. So easy to use just set up and wait for them to get wet. They can be dried out and used again for the next emergency.

These flood barrier bags are great and durable. They're also lightweight, easy to use and perfect here in Florida. They're a one time use only. Not bad for the price, i do recommend these floos barrier bags.

These flood barriers are much easier to store and handle than traditional sandbags. They start out lightweight and expand once exposed to water, which makes setup quicker during emergency situations. The material feels durable enough to hold together while blocking water around doors, garages, or basement areas. They are not magic barriers that stop massive flooding completely, but they definitely help redirect or slow down water intrusion. Best to have them ready before severe weather hits instead of waiting until the last minute. Practical emergency item that stores compactly when not in use.

OK - first of all and up-front: I haven't had a FLOOD to see if and how well these bags actually work, and I wasn't going to, say, flood my garage just to see if I could keep water from leaking out (lol). So as far as function goes, I really can't say. That being said, we're going into hurricane season, and if I get the chance to use these, I'll do so, reporting back and updating the review with whatever I find. So... the bags seem well-made, and are as-advertized? They're easy to deploy in a dry state - I can't say about wet, but I imagine they'll be heavy; I'm not sure how hard it would be to cut up to dispose of, or if that's a good idea in the first place. Since I haven't actually USED them, I can't say how well they adhere where you place them (i.e. how well the adhesive works), and I'll update with information if we get a hurricane this year. Basically, this is a placeholder. Nothing I'm telling you is useful per se at this point, but I'm optimistic, and at least the product looks easy as pie to deploy when needed!

These water-activated flood barriers are a practical and convenient alternative to traditional sandbags, especially for those looking for something easier to store and handle. One of the biggest advantages is how lightweight and compact they are before use. Unlike standard sandbags, which can be bulky and difficult to manage, these are easy to store without taking up much space or creating clutter. They’re also much easier to move around, making them a more accessible option for a wider range of users. The self-activating design is another strong point. Once exposed to water, they absorb and expand, eliminating the need to manually fill them. This makes them especially useful to keep on hand in a garage, vehicle, or storage area for quick deployment when needed. They’re also easy to share or distribute if neighbors or others need them in a pinch. That said, the same feature that makes them convenient also requires some planning. They do need time to absorb water and reach their full effectiveness, so they’re not an instant solution in situations where immediate barrier protection is required. For slower-developing scenarios or preventative use, they work well—but expectations should be set accordingly. Storage is also important for long-term reliability. Keeping them in a cool, dry place helps preserve the material and ensures they’ll perform properly when needed. Overall, these offer great value and are a smart, low-maintenance option for basic flood preparedness, offering a cleaner and more user-friendly alternative to traditional sandbags.

Misleading product description led me to believe they are indefinitely reusable, however upon purchase it was revealed they are intended for single use. They do however absorb water quite well, could be good for emergency use, but for semi-permanent or permanent water issues I wouldn't recommend.

Très déçue, n’ont pas absorbé l’eau, absolument inefficace.
