Had high hopes for this item based on the reviews. Clearly people don't understand what they're buying. There are two fatal flaws with the design of this product. First, they are misleading you by saying this is a 5/8" hose. It is 5/8" OUTSIDE diameter. Normally in the Unite States the size indicates the INSIDE diameter of the hose because that's what determines the amount of flow through the hose. The other fatal flaw is that the connector that you screw into a nozzle or other device is short and does not have a hex nut on it. So when you thread it in it's recessed and can't be tightened enough. More so, it spins on the hose itself making it impossible to be removed. I had to cut the hose to install a new connector which is when I realized this is not a 5/8" ID hose because the connector would not fit inside of it. Now I have a non-returnable item that is useless. This hose reel is horrible, steer clear of it.

Hose will not retract. Sent pictures no response. Should be covered under the one year warranty Buyer Beware !!

Bonjour, Cette enrouleur de tuyau a brisé au début de l'été. Je veux vous en informer. Ressort brisé à l'intérieur j'en suis certain, il ne veut plus s'enrouler si on le déroule il reste en place et on entend le ressort tourné avec le boyau et une deuxième pièces à cassé sans qu'on ne s'aperçoive qu'elle était brisée celle qui relie le boyau au centre de l'enroulement. Je vais envoyer une photo de la deuxième pièce défectueuse mais pour le ressort je ne sais pas comment faire pour réparer ça. C'est neuf et ça brise en peut de temps. Merci de faire le suivi.

Really hard to evaluate when item has never left your facility. Reason was you were out of stock & you try to push me package was lost. one of the worst poor after sales service. It has taken a month to resolve this case were you know thw realitty since first day

I was so excited to make my life easier and it did for about a month. Now when you go to rewind the tracking piece on the bar that moves to retract the hose evenly on the reel no longer moves. This make it hard for the hose to retract and only in the same space.

We ordered many things with Vevor we were always satisfied. But this time we ordered the rétractable hose and it work es two Times. Now the hose wont even rétract do we can t use it anymore. We would like a tefund it is unacceptable Serge Leblanc

Right out of the box, first use, took several minutes to get the hose to retract all of the way. It did not get better. I gave it 2 days of trying to use with ease and it never happened. We have other brands G***#&@ and this one does not even compare in any way. Super disappointed, hoping the return/refund process is easy.

I thought this would be an excellent addition to my back yard, but it is TERRIBLE. I spend an enormous amount of time trying to get the hose to retract EVERY SINGLE TIME!

First time pulled it out broke never even had water in it

I purchased retractable hose in Nov.2025 . Installed it in May,2026. There is very very low to no pressure of water. Sometimes no water comes out only drizzling. Sometimes the hose doesn't retract at all. May be the unit is faulty.
