metricmountie Overall performance

I bought this plank to work on my boat in the Spring of 2026, delivery was quick, plank arrived with one small bit of shipping damage which did not affect performance. The only other small problem was that the strap on one end of the plant that you use to adjust the length tore off but was easily repaired with a flat washer over top the connection to the plank. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.

Cat Man Do It was the cheapest and lightest one I could find.

The walk plank seems to work well. I needed a fairly long plank and I generally work alone so I targeted this item which seems lighter than the compilation by comparison. The walk plank feels sturdy enough enough with just me on it. However, I wonder how it would hold up fully extended with another man working off it along side of me. Time will tell as it has only been me on it thous far.

AS well made, lightweight, sturdy

We purchased this to use in front of our sliding boathouse door. We open the door and then lift the plank up onto brackets in order to take the boat out. Reverse when we bring the boat back in. Previously we had a hardwood plank. This aluminum one is 1/2 the weight to lift. We have it opened to the 15' length and it is very sturdy and easy to handle. Couldn't be more pleased!!

Gary Using for Fire Rescue service
2.7-4.6 m
May be a slightly unconventional use but this is now a "tool" added to our first out Fire Engine. We are a very low lying area on the coast and have many water "features" we sometimes need to cross to get to a scene of an incident. We use this scaffold plank to be able to more safely cross flooded drainage ditches or provide a more stable ground over swamps.
