The aerator was delivered in a damaged box and was missing one of the side pieces that supports the axel. The aerator is totally useless without it. All I what is the missing piece, customer service has been horrible for a week. Now it on me and my time to find a box that will fit all the parts and ship it back.

I wanted to like it; I really did . It assembled just fine but the 3” tines just weren’t effective in my St. Augustine yard. I used it on two occasions thinking it might have been too wet the first time. The plugs were infrequent, small and not 3” long. It simply was not effective even with 100# of weight on it.

Going to do this point form as there are lots of points. I will start off by saying I am a tradesman. And building this kind of stuff is my forte. Pros - Cheap - Quick shipping - does actually plug aerate (when it works) - Packaged well - extra hardware Cons - the instructions. Holy cow. There are sentences that just cut off half way through explaining what to do. Pictures that are designed for someone the size of an ant. - Quality control - the welds are horrible. One of the parts (#9) I had to cut because the tubing for the axle to go through was 3" too long and once you put the spikes on they hung past the axle on 1 end and you could attach the side panel and wheel. - no matter how you flipped the axle, it doesnt line up with everything. I tried 4 different ways of the axle and lift mechanism bracket and nothing was perfect. Had to jam it in to get the bolt through. - speaking of that bolt, it sheared off 5 seconds into use. Therefor i can no longer lift/lower the wheels. (Picture shown) this is what I found in the axle. The nut and rest of the bolt I cannot find. - back to the axle, it doesnt line up the wheels properly so it doesnt get enough lift to bring the tines fully off the ground when transporting. I ended up lining up the wheels where the properly worked with the lever, and then drilling my own hole in the axle. This fixed the alignment problem as well as the excess torque that the lever mechanism was putting on the axle that caused the shear of the bolt. I didnt bother returning/refunding because of the hassle of doing so. And because I know I can make it better. Final verdict: Only buy if you are extremely handy and like a challenge

Took about an hour to assemble, very easy to put together however one of the pieces came with a piece welded over one of the holes for the lever so it required a band saw to remove in order to fit nut&bolt through. Still great for the price assuming it comes with correct parts.

I ordered this aerator from Vevor as it seemed to be the best deal for the price. I am normally impressed with Vevors quality for the price but this purchase I would say has me disappointed. The shipping speed was great and it arrived to my doorstep well packaged. I had previously read reviews saying that this was easy to assemble however this was not the case. The instructions were fairly clear however the illustrations were misleading which ended up having me assemble incorrectly the first time. It is a bit of a guessing game but once done correctly goes together smoothly. Also, one of the parts was either incorrect or poorly thought out as a metal support was welded over top of a bolt hole that was needed. A grinder took care of that pretty quick but it was frustrating and something to watch out for. Also im sure I immediately voided any warranty by grinding the incorrectly made part but it had to be done as I was on a timeline with the weather. This is not a grab a beer and assemble type of project. I strongly recommend you be of sober mind to attempt this. You will want to save the beer for later to drink away your memories of the nightmare that is assembling this product. Probably 4 hours of assembly if you dont count the breaks I took to sob on my wife's shoulder (she didnt care) Once assembled, my immediate concern was that the wheels were very loose. There is no way to tighten these to the axle as they are just held on with a through bolt. So they just kinda wobble around as you pull it. Not the biggest deal as they are only needed to transport short distances while you get to the next spot you are aerating. I found the cores on the actual aerator to be quite dull which leaves you with the option to put more weight on top or sharpen them. I chose to put more weight on top. This was a poor decision. When I went to lift the aerator back onto its wheels with the lever, the single poor quality bolt sheared off. This is my fault for having too much weight on top but as stated before, the cores would not go into the soil otherwise. Overall this item gets 3 stars only because once you get to the lawn it actually does aerate and does it pretty well and efficiently. The price is lower than you will find anywhere else if you dont factor in the anger management classes your wife enrolled you in and once you replace the broken hardware with higher quality bolts im sure in will hold up. I do think that vevor may have changed the product design because after reading other reviews it doesn't seem like we all got the same product. I dont know how long this will last but it got me through this season.

Vervormen offers this product with 6 day delivery time. I ordered more than 1 month ago, no delivery so far. No communication about delay… keep awaiting delivery.

Need parts for the aerator and company is not being helpful with their communication. It was missing parts when I opened the box.

Couldn't speak to the quality of the item but the seller gets a one star reveiw. Like many others, this item was shipped to me incomplete with the missing component being a major one. Customer service has been so kind as to offer me a 50% refund so that my box of essentially useless parts is a little easier on the wallet. Somehow so many of these were shipped with the same item missing and that item isn't available for them to be able to replace it, yet they are still selling aerators on their website. At one point they did finally agree to ship me the part and after waiting several weeks I received a box with a part in it that does not belong to the aerator in any way so that was a real adventure. I assume someone somewhere is missing a component from something else they purchased from this website. If so, I have it!

I order this item and have a crucial part missing one of the metal Panels that hold it Together it’s been a month and still have not received the Missing part and requested a refund and have not hear anything all they know how to do Is apologetic but no part and no refund.
