Etwas dünnes Blech ,ein anbrennschutz(Roost im Topf wär gut) Ansonsten geht alles .Hab mal alles an Wein der schon lange im Keller lag Eingefüllt ist jetzt Tresta mit 50 %. :-)

Bei dem Gerät muss man das Preis - Leistung Prinzip zu Grunde legen. Es wurde nur das Allernötigste produziert; die Handhabung leidet darunter und ist zuweilen problematisch. Es ist jedoch mittlerweile schwierig, einfache, aber effektive Destilliergeräte zu finden. Dieses gehört jedoch dazu.

This unit is great for dipping your toes into distilling. PROS Price Build quality CONS Connections Thermometer The connections are a problem as they don't hold firm when moving things around so if you tighten them the silicone washers get squashed out of shape and leak. I fixed this by using stainless steel washers over the silicone washers. The thermometer only gives the temperature of the pot rather than the steam coming out. I haven't yet looked at a solution but just be aware the thermometer will read higher than the steam temperature.

It is work well. However the water in cooling pot is getting hot fast. Hope recirculating submersible pump will work properly in this hot water. I had to replace the cooling water a few times to make sure it is keep more or less roomy temperature. Otherwise I like the distiller.

Other than the fact they delivered it to the wrong address and it was missing an important part, the quality is quite good. Luckily the part that was missing was interchangeable from the one i was replacing. The overall construction was well made and it looks like the new style seals and gaskets will last longer than the old one i had. I have already used it twice and works very well. This 8 gallon version is about the perfect size for new or experienced users.

Op zich voor dit geld een goede ketel mét alles erop en eraan. Echter de buizen van de ketel naar de thumpcake en van de thumpcake naar de worm zijn wel van heel goedkoop materiaal. Je moet deze heel voorzichtig buigen, als je deze knikt kan je het weggooien! De slangen voor het koelwater zijn eigenlijk net te groot voor de aansluiting op de pan van de worm. Je moet daarom klemmen gebruiken, anders loopt het water gewoon weg. Verder is het voor dit geld in z’n geheel in degelijk product en kan je hier wel goed mee brouwen/stoken! Voor een beginner in de brouw/destilleer hobby een aanrader!

It works pretty good. This is the first time using a thumper and i need to try agian, I just want to add some flavor.

Assembly was straight forward parts fit together as advertised worked well during partial runs. Heavy pot holds up the the weight when full. Chiller too small for pot volume so I built a larger one. Thumper input not typical, still functions as intended. Very portable easily stored all items in the pot when packed up, small space storage.
