Tricky I am very impressed and pleased with this Mower Blade Sharpening Jig
No
The price for this jig was much more reasonable than a few others that I have seen. As a result, I was not sure what to expect, but I just used it this morning to sharpen the blade on my Toro 21 inch mower.
It is very easy to set up and use. I found the correct pin to install on my grinder, there were 4 pins in total and one fit perfectly. I am also impressed that it came with mounting screws. Most say they do not come with the mounting screws.
I ended up purchasing some 3/8 inch bolts with washers and wing nuts as I mounted it on a portable stand. It is very easy to set up and use. It did not take long to get the correct angle, then I proceed to sharpen my blade. There are a lot of adjustments on the jig. My Toro blade has a significant cupping shape in the middle of the blade, but the screws that hold the blade in place were easy to adjust with an Allen key. I also have a riding mower, they are a much flatter blade so I will have to adjust the height of the screws that hold the blade in place, but I know that I can sharpen a variety of blades with this jig.
I would recommend this sharpening jig to anyone looking for something that makes sharpening your mower blades easier.
