Used once, and the slicer fails to maintain desired thickness. You must hold the thickness adjustment dial in position the entire time while slicing to maintain desired thickness.

Cheaply made unit. The plastic slider is loose on the rail, no bearing wheels or some alignments. Will keep for small use.

For a super cheap slicer it's great. If you have the money though, get a better one. The back moves as you apply pressure from what you're slicing and you don't get an even slice. Thick at one end and thin at the other. However, for paying less than 60 bucks, it works good enough for my needs. Overall I'm happy with it but if you want anything close to precision you want to get a more expensive one.

It's a low priced slicer. Nice for small home things. I cut bread, meat, and cheese with it. For the price, it worked as it should

The slicer is good for the price, I have worked at several delis and sub shops and probably will judge a little harshly because of that. The slicer is light and easy to move and position, but having the adjustment knob in the space of the sliced meat platform lessens the space to actually grab or place the meat. Because there is no top plate for the blade when the meat/cheese gets smaller the blade will grab and pull it from under the plastic meat/cheese holder/pusher. Any pressure to hold the meat in place will push open the gap causing the slice to become thicker and unevenly sliced. I also wish the blade spun faster. With all that I sill would not justify spending the 250+ on a, to me, a proper slicer unless you are going to use it several times a week to every day.
