I received the tap and die set within the promised delivery timeframe and it arrived complete and undamaged. That’s where the good part stops. I had to use the m10 tap to cut a thread into a piece of steel. I drill an 8.5mm hole as required for an M10 tap and I used the handle that you secure the tap into. Before I had finished the tapping process the handle snapped. I was only tapping a thread into a 5mm pice of aluminium. I have had to go out and purchase a new handle to be able to continue using the taps. I was really disappointed as I was optometrist that this was going to be a really good set. I’m fortunately this was not the case.

Not good damaged thread on first die used and small screwdriver with the set was bent like a banana. Photo's will not upload from my phone.

Ive bought several tools from vevor over the last 3 years or so almost all of them have done exactly what i bought them for....the tap and die set not so much. First tap i used snapped off 3rd turn trying to cut threads into mild steel and took an hour to get it out. Tryed to use several die and they dont even clean up the threads already there. Completely destroyed a wheel stud trying to clean threads up. Will definately not buy again.

Schneidet nicht, Grat an den Schneidkanten

This item is not worth the money, don't buy their description of high-grade HRC55-62 hardened bearing steel, effortlessly handling heavy loads and high pressures, I tried to cut some threads on 3/16" rod and it would not cut them. I had used a tap & die set from Harbor Freight to cut the same size threads on the same rod about 2 months ago and it worked way better than this set from Vevor. I should have borrowed that die set again instead of buying my own

je viens de recevoir mon colis du moins j'ai du aller le chercher en point relais alors que c'été prévu qu'on me le livre à domicile sachant qu'en plus j'y été donc je ne comprend pas pourquoi ? Cordialement Mr Peyrat Gregory

Die Lieferung erfolgte prompt. Ich wollte mit dem Schneideisen M7x1.0 ein Feingewinde nachschneiden. Letzlich ist das Gewinde zerstört, weil der Einsatz weder maßhaltig noch scharf war. Zum Glück war das Werkstück lang genug, sodass ich den zerstörten Teil abtrennen konnte und mit einem neuen, wertigeren Tool (nicht von VEVOR!!!) das Gewinde noch retten konnte. Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal!!! Ich rate von diesem Artikel ganz klar ab.

I am very disappointed in the lack of quality in this tap and die set because they are not sharp enough to actually cut threads and don’t produce any shavings . The set I recieved a few weeks ago appears to have missed the hardening and sharpening process or is representative of all of them. I was happy enough with the magnetic drill I first bought from Vevor, the 4 jaw lathe chuck came minus the spindle mounting backing plate and cost me hours of work and time buying a steel billet and machining to make one.due to my mixed experience I find it very difficult to recommend Vevor products unless endorsed by true professional tradesmen.

Ei leikkaa vaan enemmän valssaa kierteet. Liekö vain maanantaisarja minkä sain mutta surkea on. Olen hionut osan tappeja oikeaan kulmaan ne leikaavat. Jos olisi ollut leikkaava niin hinta laatusuhde olisi loistava. Mutta nyt olen todella pettynyt.
