Lieferung top, Verpackung gut.
Beim Öffnen aufpassen, da rieseln ne Menge Sägespäne raus. War offensichtlich wirtschaftlich nicht tragbar, die nach dem Sägen mal hochkant zu stellen…
Im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Profilen – auch den "leichten" Modellen schon extrem "materialsparend".
Was nicht unbedingt schlecht ist, denn so wiegt das Resultat auch nur 1/3 – hat aber auch deutlich weniger Traglast.
Die schwarze Eloxierung ist schick, aber auch extrem anfällig.
Ich habe die Laufflächen der Verbindungswinkel mit Tape abgeklebt, denn jede kleine Verschiebung mit Kontakt zum Profil hinterlässt Kratzer. Also Kratz runter aufs Alu, nicht nur im Elox. Wäre nett, wenn Vevor die demnächst einfach in silber anbietet!
Preislich unschlagbar, wer eine Metallsäge hat kann sich hier austoben.
Das extrem dünne Material birgt noch einen recht doofen Nebeneffekt: Die klassischen Nutsteine für 8er Profile passen nicht!
Also klar, sie passen in die Rille – aber die Federkugel unten greift ins leere. Mit kurzen Schrauben oder bei vertikalen Profilen hat man hier ein echtes Problem! Am besten vorher mit dem 3D Drucker eine Art Halterung basteln, bis die Schraube mal drin ist…
Ansonsten cool, würde ich wieder kaufen.

The 4040 Aluminun extrusion came packaged very well and the shipping time was reasonable. The finish is very good it worked perfectly for what I needed. The only issue I have, and it is minor, is the depth of the channel below the Grove. It is deeper than anything else I have and the nuts with ball bearings in them does not fill the slot and will not stay in the channel until attached to another piece. All in all this is a good product and I would purchase again.
