I used these guide rods to make a slab flattening fixture. They are rigid and accurate making the project simple. The guide booklets had all the dimensions to make the connecting pieces.

I am always pretty weary of buying cheaper items, if you know about these rails you know these are pretty deeply discounted... they came in machined perfect no bends or bowing!!!!!

Well mixed feelings the rails are extremely nice the bearings that go on the rails fair but usable if you need to use it all the time get extra bearings I had to order replacement bearings to go with but for the money worth every penny can't beat it less than $200 4' x6' plus that sell for $1200 plus online not even a question for me part time live edge lumber recommend

Over all a good product depending on the use. I used theses rails to flatten a few slabs with a router. The rails are good quality I just had problems with saw dust in barings. But otherwise they work good.

The rails are very nice, the quality is excellent.
But, the threads on the bearing housings are not ideal.
Some manufacturing stuff left in threads-a white powdery goo, and even with cleaning and carefully chasing the threads I still had one machine screw seize and damage the threads to the point where I’ll have to re-drill and tap.
Overall they are great rails at a great price, but just be aware that you should be prepared to fully clean and check the threading to avoid, what will now be a PITA, to sort out.
