Absolutely love it.. It's a great welder.. The down fall is it heats up.. Then after about 15 minutes.. It over heats and shuts down.. I'm not sure is I have a dud. Can someone else who has one chime in and tell me if theirs overheats and shuts down

Simple, rapide, efficace

Mike Mohr Works Great
I have been using a regular soldering gun with a special tip to do my plastic welding. But the soldering gun gets extremely hot with extended use.
This gun is designed for plastic welding and it gets the right temperature quickly. The tip is excellent. It does eventually get hot with extended use but it works much better and quicker than my regular soldering gun. Without getting so hot.
I have not used the Staples yet but I plan to soon.
So far this product has exceeded my expectations.
