A real nice piece to add to your tool arsenal and repair/weld plastics. Has come jn handy in a few projects already. Note that the supplied staples are quite strong and I killed a flush cutter edge quite badly cleaning up the work piece. Strong is good I suppose.

Efficace. Facile d'utilisation et tout les accessoires sont bien utiles. Petit moins sur la pince coupante d'une qualité moyenne mais je n'ai pas acheté le pack pour ça. Petit test sur une caisse plastique cassée puis réparation d'un support par choc de VU et le par choc également. Réparation support téléphone pour vtt. Bref. Bien utile au quotidien pour de grande économie de rachat de bien.

Very impressed with this plastic welding kit. It had everything I needed plus stuff I haven't used yet. It did exactly what I bought it for and repaired my car interior console plus several other jobs as well.

Excellent kit. I have bought three kits now for use in different homes and this one seems to be the happy medium. It costs less than the higher end one but still has a good choice of tips, including the useful "feeder" shoe that allows you to feed rod into the heated area. The kit is a useful mix of accessories with some material supplied. The best kits offer more material and color options but can be confusing to understand which to use. This has some, not too little not too much. In fact, I like it fine because I am usually looking to rob a piece of the same material on the object to use for repair. Today I used this one for a water jug with holes rubbed in it. I cut off the excessive mold flashing it had elsewhere and used that for a 100% matched repair. If you look around, there is material everywhere so you don't need much though the thin sticks supplied do work great for the feeder shoe. The iron itself seems good; it's as hot on 'high" as the more expensive one I have and then it has a lower heat option as well. That should be useful to avoid burning through thin plastic. Wattage wise, these don't actually draw nearly as much as they claim (50 watts on high) but that's a non-problem- the actual heat output is very good. Having a switch for power level and on/off plus an led indicator is a good feature. The cheap one I bought had no switch, a weak thin cord and was nearly just garbage. THIS one compares favorably to the more expensive tool- especially with the feeder shoe included. From what I can tell, this is the one to get if you are doing occasional repairs. Vevor seems to be making a name for themselves by taking a higher quality assembly approach, better QC and still good prices. Go Vevor!
