This unit works well if you follow the instructions provided . In saying that you need to know before purchasing this that it is strictly a LIGHT DUTY machine and should be used accordingly. I have not tried aluminum sheet yet ,but I suspect it may not be as good in that respect since aluminum requires possibly larger amounts of current.

Spot welder works pretty good. This is a very heavy welder. Recommend you purchase a spring balancer to help with the weight.

Works well with repairing sheet metal on auto restoration. A little heavy but once you’re use to it it is fine.

The machine works, but it definitely does not live up to the advertised 2+2 mm welding capacity. I would say the realistic maximum is 1+1 mm. The weld nugget is also a bit on the small side. If that is sufficient for your needs, this is a decent spot welder for the price.

Buy at your own risk. The instructions are useless like the product. Spend a little bit more and buy a quality product.
