Completely misrepresented in the photos and description. This vise does not have ACME threads. It has standard metric bolt threads. This is a huge difference in the quality of the vise. The vise at this price point will do everything thing I need it to do, but I was expecting it to match the ad and pictures.

Not bad for the price

No idea why Vevor suddenly asked me to 'review my recent purchase', I bought the vise in 2021! It needed stripping down, cleaning and deburring to start with. I then had to scrape the bottom surface flat as it rocked 0.002 corner to corner as received. The moveable jaw lifts quite significantly as the vise is tightened, and no adjustment on the poorly machined ball socket seems to help. It is possible to tap it down as you tighten the jaws but that makes it a bit of a pain when setting up. The jaws are perpendicular to within a few 10ths and are mostly straight, so tramming in is possible so long as you only use a half-thou indicator and don't look too closely. At the end of the day, it's perfectly good for day to day work, and with a bit of imagination you can do some reasonably accurate stuff with it if you put the time into setting up. Good enough for a home shop, and well worth the small amount of money it cost.

This thing is Effing huge, Not sure how big your mill is. I think the vise weighs as much as the mill. But by the time I hire a crane to lift this on to my mill I have no room to work. And returning is not much of an option, cost probably double to return it (due to sheer weight) over what I paid for the whole thing. Seriously look into the 3" or 4" vises.

If your a farmer and need a vice for your mill to make parts for your stuff, this will do the trick

The cast recesses for hold-down had large areas of razor sharp jagged areas, a serious injury risk. No de-burring was done anywhere, even the chamfers needed de-burring! The whole unit was full of casting / machining grit, cast flashing and required a complete tear-down and degrease / wash out and finishing with a rotary burr. The machined recess for the thrust washer had a large sliver of metal which caused jamming. The fixed jaw had 0.15mm of vertical run-out.

These are ok light duty vises for the price, if you need just one. However, nothing is consistent on them, they do not match as sets. We bought 6 to use as a set. None match. Every one of them will have to be re-machined, the hard jaw thicknesses, vise height, key slots on bottom. Considered sending them back. We will probably have to spend a few hours on each one to make them match. We have been satisfied with the cost/quality on vevor products untill this purchase.

I received a 6" ACCU lock vice from Vevor, it was cracked in two pieces from what I can only assume was a shipping accident with parts were missing due to the shipping box being damaged and opened. I've been communicating with Louisa, explained the situation "ticket number" 1740516207243 and I've stated many times that I'd like a new, unopened, undamaged vice sent to me because that's what I paid for. She keeps offering me a greater discount each time and to send me the replacement broken parts but I have to fix the vice myself. I told her, and I was very clear that I don't intend to fix my vice at any discount, I just want a new vice. Vevor states that customer service is a top priority but in this case that is not the truth. I can't believe you are treating a long time customer like myself like this. I have more products to buy from Vevor but after Louisa trying to buy me off with increasing discounts each time we chat and her not sending me a new vice, I will now start taking my business elsewhere. Shame in Louisa and shame on Vevor for allowing her to offer first a $20 then $40 and finally an $80 discount on a broken vice. Just send me the vice that I paid for! I can't wait to hear from Vevor about this claim.
