Good budget anvil
Solid, no major flaws. I had to spend a couple hours with a Dremel getting my Hardy tools to fit (the square hole) but better tight than loose! I also spent a few hours smoothing out the top, the surface has a surface grind, but the worst I have ever seen! Just rough, probably not an issue for most. It was flat, just rough. The hardness is good.

Good for beginners. Some casting flaws. But not too bad that it is unusable! Would purchase again!!

Bang for the buck
While it is not an Emerson or other brand name, it is a sound decent quality anvil for the price. IT WORKS> and for the difference in cost, it is alot for the money. I would definitely buy it again.

If you looking for an anvil with the quality of an American or European offering, this is not for you. The Hardy hole is cast so poorly it will need a lot of work before it is usable. The "round" horn was cast very rough, not hardened and needed to be completely redressed and polished. But, all of that said, the flat surface of the Anvil is very nice and hardened. And I just needed to dress up the sharp edges before getting started.
So what's my overall opinion ? Well, I gave it four stars because it does take a few hours to get things dressed up and usable. But because of the price I was okay with that. And my son and I are both looking forward to this new chapter in our lives with the Vevor 110# anvil front and center in our shop.

110lbs Anvil
Overall a good anvil for the size and price. Great for someone starting off. Vevor has a nice range of smaller anvils if you need portable ones to move around. I have a large anvil for main work this is new for more travel work. Good hard face, the 110 model has a nice wide face. Still do not like the hole in the junction between horn and face. But I can live with it. My only complaint is I don't like the shape of the horn. I prefer a more cone shape and will probably grind it more to that shape over time. I have only used it a little so far but happy with it so far. Would recommend. There are some casting flaws around the base but none on the important parts.

Great price for a 100 plus# Anvil.
I have been making blades for over four years, and wanted a second anvil. I saw the attractive price and decided to try it out. The description says it's cast steel (never purchase a cast iron anvil. Iron is to soft) and it had a 52 hardness. I built a three legged base with 1/4" 2"x2" tubing for the legs and 1/2" plate steel for the base for the anvil to sit on. I filled the legs with sand, tapped the legs with a hammer to get as much sand to compact. This adds weight that you want to keep it from jumping around when using.
I dropped a 1" steel ball bearing on the anvil after attaching it to the base from 2' above. The "rebound" of the bearing was 14". When striking some HOT out of the forge 1095 carbon steel with a 3# cross pein hammer, the sound of the strikes were dull and low. (that's what you want) The farther toward the rear of the anvil you strike, it doesn't have the same sound or recoil as the center of the anvil. I also question the hardness of the face. I did manage to put a small dent in the face. I will test the hardness later to see what I get.
Overall, it's a great buy at the price! It doesn't come close to my 300#TFS anvil, but it also didn't cost $2,800.00.
I would recommend this VEVOR anvil to anyone getting into blacksmithing/bladesmithing, or just needing something to pound on.

Enclume très stable et robuste. Je lui ai fabriqué un billot en bois pour à ma taille et pour éviter les vibrations à la frappe.

Nice
10 kg Modello italiano
Just finish up the edges and put it on a secure pedistal, in the right hight. Bought a stone cracker and forged it to fit the hardy hole. Should have gotten a bigger anvil but I'll place a concrete block on the bottom and secure it with bolts soon to keep it from bouncing around.

This 22# anvil was mailed without any padding in a cardboard box (see photos) that fell apart in transit, and the anvil was scratched in many places. The rust has started taking over where the paint was scratched off.
