little expensive for a hunk of iron

It is well worth the money, once I received it. Apparently, there is some kind of problem when ordering it through Amazon. Twice it made it to within 70 miles of me and then returned, "Undeliverable". I haven't a clue what the problem was, but when I ordered direct from Vevor, I received it within 3 days. Quality piece for the money. 5 layers of 2 x lumber and short 4x4 legs gives it a good solid base, with no vibration, but plenty of rebound. Thanks.

Amazing! It arrived on the very same date the Vevor said it would arrive. That's 23rd of December, as a Christmas gift! Well packaged, and they brought it up the stairs in well strapped plywood box (which was not necessary). There are slight cast imperfections on one side of the anvil; though, I have no complaints whatsoever for the price they charged! And the pritchel hole has been moved half way to be flash with the working face, as far as I can tell, it is an improvement. Thanks and Merry Christmas to Vevor team!

looks amazing and there are no big holes and it doesn't rust as much as I was expecting it was going to. It's loud so you're going to need some way to dampen the sound because it rings. Huge upgrade from my old harbor freight anvil. Overall it's a nice solid anvil and worth the $216 price.

L'incudine è costruito con un buon acciaio, l'ho usato soprtatutto a freddo, ha i suono acuto dell'acciaio ed è un po fastidioso rispetto alla ghisa; molto probabilmente può essere ridotto usando una pesante catena attorcigliata sui piedi (io uso le cuffie). E' stabile ho un supporto in acciaio a 4 piedi su cui ho messo una tavola in legno spessa 10 cm. Lo ricomprerei.

I bought the 110lb double horn anvil. Works great. A few small blemishes, but doesn’t interfere while working on the anvil.

This is a great entry level anvil. The horn is a bit fiddly, I recommend removing the paint and grinding it a little smoother. The hardy also needs a good bit of teaming/filing before it will accept any tools.

For the price the anvil is great. This is roughly half the price of a cheap anvil shipped. You will have to dress it and clean it up a bit, but again for the price the thing is great value.

Great item. Sturdy and well built. I use this all the time and I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this anvil to those in the knife-forging business.

A great value and good quality for the price I paid for it, works great for projects around the farm.
