Good solid 88Lb steel anvil, steel was hard, passed ball bearing test nicely. Happy with this purchase.

Gary Dyck Heavy and stable anvil

Though it was good quality, the casting was rough which somewhat required finishing to suit the user.

Can't beat it for the price. the horn will need some dressing to smooth out some cast marks, but it's hard, has good rebound and is unbeatable for the price.

Very fine anvils - need a little cleanup if you care about the sprue-marks on the sides and/or don't like blue paint (I do & don't, respectively.
Very high quality & durable - I teach blacksmithing and teenage-boys hit with more enthusiasm than skill, but no-problem!

This is great value for money. Pretty hard to go wrong with this. I've seen many others advertised elsewhere for a lot more. If you're starting out knife making then this is a great first anvil.
