Price: I got mine 4/8 frame unit for $250. I think it's a good price for an electric extractor Quality: as expected for a unit below $300, the metal is thin but it works OK; the edges of the clear Lexan covers are sharp, they should be rounded over Features: unit has a safety switch to prevent cage from spinning if cover is opened; speed control is included Easy to Use: OK

Prodotto ottimo per la funzionalità e la qualità dell’acciaio e componentistica , possibilità di inserire 4 telaini da melario o 4 da nido , formato Dadan Blatt ( quella per intendersi “Italiana” . Quantità a mio avviso sufficiente per un uso casalingo o poco più ; per numeri più grandi meglio optare per uno di dimensioni adeguate. Unico appunto , spessore dei materiali usati , un po’ troppo fine … ma con quel prezzo dobbiamo accettarlo . Comodissimo è validissimo il dispositivo di sicurezza che disattiva automaticamente l’alimentazione elettrica .

I was skeptical before ordering, but gave it a shot as my extraction window was closing quickly... I ran 10 frames through the thing and it did fairly well! At least as good as the other big-name extractors I have used. It does appear to be pretty thin and I don't expect it will take a lot of abuse, but neither would any other brand? I think it was a great value for the price, and am looking forward to next years honey season.

Extractor works well - only problem is one side of flip up lid does not rest on the barrel as it should.

Overall, I recommend this spinner. Made much quicker work of things for my husband and I. Some quibbles: the hardware is shoddy. We had to take the bolt and wing nut from the gate to a local hardware store to run a die on it as it would not work properly. The hardware on plastic lids (preassembled) was on on the wrong side, which I found out only after I screwed in 12 tiny bolts. Also, the legs need to be at least one guage thicker. All of that said, we think it's of good quality for the price. Overall we are glad we have it.

Die Schleuder kommt im großen Paket teilmontiert. Die Fertigmontage ist unkompliziert und geht schnell. Die Schleuder besteht komplett aus rostfreiem Stahl bzw Plexiglas, von ein paar Einpressmuttern mal abgesehen. Die Drehzahl kann bis auf fast 100/minute reguliert werden. Das Arbeiten mit der Schleuder ist wirklich hervorragend. Um die Schleuder zu reinigen braucht man jedoch etwas mehr Geduld, die Einbauten (Körbe, Gitter) können nicht so einfach entfernt werden. Konstruktionsbedingt läuft ca 1 l Honig nicht aus der Schleuder, obwohl das ganz einfach zu lösen gewesen wäre. Das liegt daran, dass der Flansch des Auslasshahns ziemlich weit über der Unterkante des Honigsammelbehälters liegt. Mit einem anderen Flansch bzw einem anders geformten Boden wäre das problemlos gegangen. Dafür gibts 1 Punkt Abzug bei den Merkmalen.

It was a little wobbly until we had 8 frames of honey extracted in the bottom. From then on it was golden and did a wonderful job. It was easy to clean. Great value.

Drehzahl sollte etwas höher sein ansonsten für den Preis sehr OK. Entgraten muss man allerdings selbst.

It works. It does what it is supposed to do. Needs to be a larger diameter. Medium frames fit, but not without fussing with them. For the price point, it does a fair job. Vevor, in my opinion, could improve their sales by offering a 10 to 12 frame extractor. This 4/8 frame extractor is fine for the hobby beekeeper with no more than 10 hives. Would I buy it again? As a gift to a new beekeeper, Yes. For myself? The answer is, No. I'm afraid it could not keep up with 40 plus hives. If you purchase this, be sure to place a 2x4 block of wood under the back leg, to get the honey to run towards the honey gate on the front. It does run very quiet if it is properly balanced when loaded.

Produit arrivé dans un emballage de belle qualité. Beau produit mais une difficulté d'assemblage des portes transparentes du fait d'un préassemblage de charnières en usine, montées à l'envers... Après un démontage complet, remontage et adaptation de la sonde d'arrêt de sécurité, usage parfait. En service, extracteur très efficace, silencieux, variateur parfait. Pieds chevillés au sol pour limiter les vibrations. Dans l'ensemble, très satisfait de mon achat! (sous réserve de savoir bricoler un minimum)
