It arrived in excellent time. Even though someone had dropped or kicked the box hard enough to punch a hole in the side of the shipping box the size of my fist, it was packed well enough that there were no dents on it; not even a scratch on the still. There were some extra small, replacement silicone seals which I really appreciated. It was all very easy to put together even without instructions, but if this sort of thing is new to you... you should read the instructions. I heated quickly, and performed well. Negatives: Some of the hose connections leaked a little. Tightening them more may resolve the issue, but that will likely damage the seals if done repeatedly (but there's extras). You do need to watch the water volume on the condenser. If you're not careful it may run over on you. There are valves to adjust the intake and output on the condenser, and they are there for a reason. Use them. My only real complaint is that the silicone gasket for the thumper is *way* to small to be of use. I doubt it was designed for this still, but rather I suspect someone put the wrong size silicone gasket into the box when piecing it all together. I've been using various stills for nearly 30 years, so hear me out. If this came with the proper thumper gasket, I'd give it 5 stars for sure. If they send me the right gasket, I'd still give it 5 stars, 'mistakes happen. No big deal.

L'ensemble est de belle qualité, emballage colis impeccable. Seuls bémols: il manquait un raccord male male pour seulement connecter le refroidisseur, et la notice in English, dur dur pour des termes peu employés, mais on s'adapte! J'ai pu distiller ma lavande, très bon résultat! la pompe est très appréciable pour économiser l'eau et avec quelques glaçons dans l'eau, ça économise encore :)

Great purchase, good quality, reasonable price. I’m looking forward to my home made brew. Best to google some recipes first on how to mix the mash and pay close attention to the temperature while cooking. Takes a bit of experimenting with flavours to get your perfect taste but worth it.

Etwas dünnes Blech ,ein anbrennschutz(Roost im Topf wär gut) Ansonsten geht alles .Hab mal alles an Wein der schon lange im Keller lag Eingefüllt ist jetzt Tresta mit 50 %. :-)

Bei dem Gerät muss man das Preis - Leistung Prinzip zu Grunde legen. Es wurde nur das Allernötigste produziert; die Handhabung leidet darunter und ist zuweilen problematisch. Es ist jedoch mittlerweile schwierig, einfache, aber effektive Destilliergeräte zu finden. Dieses gehört jedoch dazu.

This unit is great for dipping your toes into distilling. PROS Price Build quality CONS Connections Thermometer The connections are a problem as they don't hold firm when moving things around so if you tighten them the silicone washers get squashed out of shape and leak. I fixed this by using stainless steel washers over the silicone washers. The thermometer only gives the temperature of the pot rather than the steam coming out. I haven't yet looked at a solution but just be aware the thermometer will read higher than the steam temperature.

It is work well. However the water in cooling pot is getting hot fast. Hope recirculating submersible pump will work properly in this hot water. I had to replace the cooling water a few times to make sure it is keep more or less roomy temperature. Otherwise I like the distiller.
