Initially, we placed the staples 90 degrees off from their correct orientation, which resulted in weaker joins. Once corrected, using Level 2 heat on a car bumper provided quick and strong results. It's easy to operate—just wait a few seconds after the staple melts into place before removing the tool. The slimline handle and versatile staple positions (0°, 45°, 90°) made reaching tight spots straightforward. We mainly used the heavier gauge staples (0.8mm), and the repairs felt solid once properly aligned. Definitely worth the purchase—just ensure correct staple orientation for maximum strength. Nice tool!

This unit is amazing, I got my money back on the first job repairing the storage box on the back of my Polaris sportsman. Truly amazing, so easy to use, heats up fast and holds the heat. I highly recommend this kit.

hey, this thing works! fixed a broken caster mount for a small pressure washer in minutes. should work to repair most thermal plastics, including re-enforcing weak components before they break. I feel that it probably would work to fix plastic auto fenders etc, but haven't tried that yet.

I managed to weld a dashboard back together. The dashboard I repaired is for a chevy 3500 express (it’s engineered as one long 6 or 7ft panel) Due to a mouse nest under the dash where the ducting is routed, I was unable to use the AC without getting blasted with bits of nesting and mouse poop. Unable to remove the panel as one piece, I absolutely cut it in half. I cut it in 3 sections in-fact. The design drove me nuts anyways - It needed re-engineering. Cutting was no easy task, ultimately I botched it. But, Vevors hot stapler saved the dash! - It reached all the weird contours, All the deep areas and the tightest of spots such as around the clips. It’s rigid again and I can fling it around loosely through the air. Im genuinely confident about it’s strength after the repair. I applied bondo to the front of the dash to fill in gaps and voids but, It looked great on its own just by melting and shaping it with a staple and 80 grit. (Had pictures but I can’t provide a 600p x 500p picture under 2mb) Unfortunately the stapler went on sale a few days after I made my purchase but never the less, It was worth it! All I can say is I wish I bought this stapler years ago.
