This camera is everything you need to see what is going on down the line the only thing I wish i would have done is spend the extra to get the locator with it, It really surprized me at how clear the picture is I have already made my money back on t h e purchase ind will be upgrading to the locator type soon

Well designed and constructed sewer camera, especially for the price. My connection from the house to the main city sewer line lateral is only about 50 feet, so the 100 foot length of the cable is plenty for me. Longer length versions are available. The cable and camera slide easily in my 3" sewer pipe using the plastic sleeve. For 4" and larger pipe, use the carriage provided. The adjustable brightness LEDs are plenty bright. The camera does not automatically orient up, so have a little water running down the sewer line and you can tell from where the running water is in the pipe which direction is down. The only issue at all is that the distance markings on the cable at 3 foot intervals are small and sometimes hard to read. But once you know they are at 3 foot intervals you can find them. The cost of the entire setup is less than the cost of one commercial camera inspection. You do need an adequate size cleanout port. The camera will not fit through a standard 2" trap, such as a toilet or sink. You need at least a 2" straight cleanout opening into the main sewer line.
