It's OK. Basic Air Still with no extras and nof frills. Not for distillation of spirits unless you attach it to an external voltage regulator (standard 700 Watts). It works OK. Worth the money if you are looking for the most basic of models.

L’eau obtenue par distillation avec cet appareil ne permet pas de faire de l’argent colloïdal. J’ai acheté cet appareil pour cette application donc globalement je suis déçue.

Distiller: One terminal of the heating element developed a fault to the chassis/ground. Shortly afterwards, water began to leak into the interior, which caused the wiring to burn. Upon inspection, the thermostat was found to be electrically damaged as well. The vessel and the upper section remained in the same condition as delivered, i.e. as good as new. Considering the reasonable price, I nevertheless decided to purchase a new unit.

This distiller makes pure, great tasting water. It worked perfectly for 9 months and then it started leaking. I could not figure out where the leak originated but it dripped out the bottom of the unit -- a lot, so that the gallon jug was only 3/4 full when the cycle was finished and I had water all over the countertop. I purchased a new gasket but it still leaked. A youtuber suggested teflon tape under the gasket but it did not help. And then it just stopped working altogether within a week of the leak starting. I have used these countertop distillers before under the Kenmore brand and have not had leaking issues. A quick internet search reveals others have had this problem as well. I realize the warranty probably expired after 90 days but I expected a better product from VEVOR because I have purchased many things here and have been very pleased overall.

Does not work as expected. Instead of producing purified at an even pace i.e. purified water dripping out of the spout at an pace one drop at a time, nothing comings out for roughly 12 seconds until a larger amount of water suddenly shoots out. This repeats for the whole duration of distillation session. The problem with this is, so much much water is expelled at one time that it overhealms and bypasses the activated charcoal filter meaning Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) don't get filtered out of the water. My previous distiller from another manufacturer always produced water one drop at a time and never had this issue. I complained to Vevor and they sent me a replacement unit, but it did the same thing. I suspect the cooling coil has an insufficient slope to be able to exit the purified water at a sufficient rate. Looks like I'll need to look for a water distiller elsewhere.

I brought this to distill my water in theory I understand how it works, but I have had to clean it 5 times and there is still a metallic taste left behind. I prefer to call and speak to someone but I have not been able to do this. For this reason I would not recommend this product.

arrived in damaged box taped together. Product was damaged bent to oval shape and did not work so I don't know how good to works. On/off switch was broken and gasket was damaged . Vevor refunded my money after a week of discussions. Not disparaging the product only the condition it arrived in. Product was thrown away as too expensive to return and I do not need any more broken stuff in this house.

I really liked this machine. It easily produces 3 or 4 gallons of distilled water per day. It is also very simple to set up and use. However the quality is lacking. The stainless steel tank started to rust within the first 3 days of use. The machine still worked well until the middle of the 3rd week when it stopped working at all. Once I started it up, the reset button would kick off as soon as it started to heat up. I contacted support, the were very helpful and sent me a replacement machine immediately. The new machine was a repeat of the first one. Worked great out of the box, the stainless steel tank started to rust after the first couple of uses and then the machine failed altogether after about a month of use. I again contacted support and they ghosted me. Asked for photos showing the problem. I don't know how to create a picture of a machine not working??? It looks the same as when it works except that it doesn't work!! I'll rethink any future purchase from VEVOR. The cheap price isn't worth the headaches.

The distilling machine is cheap and simple, but mine had defects. The biggest defect was that the silicone seal that seals the upper/lower assembly was leaking, even after trying to adjust it many times. This is made worse by the fact that you cannot order spare/repair parts. I can still seal it by manually using silicone tape (the flexible one without glue that sticks to itself, for repairing pipes), every time I use it. Besides this, the inlet nozzle where the steam enters the condenser pipe was leaking as well. I was able to repair this, by taking the top assembly apart, and reinserting it into the silicone washer, using some silicone spray and silicone tape again. Furthermore, the steam baffle came loose when I tried to adjust it, as it was a bit deformed. This I could not repair, because the bolt was spot-welded to the inside of the tank. The machine still works without this, but again not optimally. So, the machine is cheap and simple. But in my case, I had to repair stuff before it even worked properly. I hope this is a one-off production defect. But the fact that 3 different parts were not working properly gives me the feeling this is a QA issue. But I can of course only talk about the one I bought, so take it with a grain of salt. If the machine was working properly from the get-go, this would have been a 5-star review, as the distilling machine is very good value-for-money. But unfortunately that was not the case. Still, after a few repairs, I am able to use it, so therefore I can still give it a (neutral) 3 stars
